Nothing To Do With Him

Maintaining distance while following William to the harbour was necessary, in order to not be seen as a team. However, while keeping our distances, it would be life-threatening for me that was one thing I had not given much concern about.

As William took sharp turns and walked between the shadows, I made sure to do the same. He was very clever with his moves and I was awed at his attempts. He seemed very professional and experienced at it but what more I didn't know, that there were others too that were doing the same in the vicinity about which I had been too lenient and careless.

Up until now, I had been focusing upon following William but what I had been neglecting was the commotion that followed behind me.
