Cultivators

The School of Master Wushu is surrounded by trees.

A large forest can be located just nearby the school.

Master Wushu has prohibited anyone to wander or even attempt to enter the large forest without his permission.

It said to be that there are many wild beasts that reside within the deep forest.

Only those who are experienced in battle could defend themselves or even defeat such one.

Though, there is a road that allows any type of carriage to pass through the school of Master Wushu.

A number of people only dares to use this path due to the high risk and danger that they may encounter once they take this certain route.

But the {senior-ranked} and the {junior-ranked} disciples of Master Wushu have gotten used to the sudden appearance of wild beasts.

Such precautionary scheme that Master Wushu made in order to protect his disciples from any unseen danger,

Every time he sends out his disciples for an errand, he always asked one {senior-ranked} and one {junior-ranked} disciple to complete such task.

"Hiya!" Feilong holding the harness attached to the horse as they travel with a long four wheeled covered wagon being dragged along behind the horse.

"When was the last time, you got out of school?" Reema asked Maya and Billy.

"My last visit to town was last month." Maya's reply.

"It has been more than a year for me! Such a bummer…" a quick retort by Billy.

"Of course, you tend to buy a lot of food and get lost along the way. So, it is a miracle that Reema and Feilong allowed you to come along." Maya starting to tease Billy for his strong appetite.

Along the road, a sudden bump that made the covered wagon shake and wobble harder.

Then a surprising appearance got revealed beside Billy.

"Aaaaahh!!" Billy screamed in surprise.

Immediately, Feilong halted and checked if what was wrong.

He then saw Reema and the rest surprised by someone's presence… Shams!

Due to the unsteady movement of the covered wagon, Shams' efforts to conceal himself failed.

The large bag almost successfully concealed his presence. Because it was like a sack.

"Why did you bring this little brat with us? Don't you know how much Master Wushu will get angry for violating his rules?" Feilong aired out opinion.

"We did not!" together Maya and Reema replied Feilong's opinion.

"I even told him about Master Wushu's restrictions. I already explained to him why we could not bring him with us. I really thought he understood what we told him." Reema explaining herself to Feilong.

Feilong is looking upset at the sight of Shams who is just smiling at everyone.

Speaking of which, he explained himself.

"Oh come on! I was just simply interested in how outside beyond our school walls would look like." clearly explained by Shams.

"No! We are bringing you back!" Feilong firmly decided.

'Uh-oh! This is bad. I have to do something quickly or else I will be returned to the school.' Thought by Shams to himself

'I just hope it works for them as well. If it worked with Master Wushu, I bet it might work with the girls.'

Then immediately, Shams appealed to Reema and Maya by looking adorable in his pouting and sobbing eyes.

Billy smacked Shams' head and said, "You think that will work? Well, you will be dead wrong!"

Maya and Reema looked at each other then they stared at Feilong.

"Since we are already halfway through, why don't we just bring him along? And assign Maya and Billy to look after him. Then we can finish the errand quicker compared to if we go back now. Plus, we can just make it seem to look as if Little Ryoku did not come with us. I am pretty sure with the number of paper works that Master Wushu has to finish today. He will not even find out." Further reasoned out by Reema.

"Fine! But if ever Master Wushu finds out about this, Reema you will be responsible." Feilong giving in to the request of the girls and Shams.

He then continued, "And then for you, Little Ryoku, behave and no nonsense from you!"

"As you were saying?" Shams mocking at young Billy.

"Oh, I will be damned! Unbelievable! It really did work!" Billy could not contain his reaction and amusement from the situation.

Right before they could even laugh or react further, a sudden noise coming from outside that was rushing towards the covered wagon.

"Reema! Apply a barrier now!" Feilong instructed his junior while he went out to hunt down such wild beasts.

Shams watched Reema make a barrier out of her own energy.

A blue ray of circle suddenly surged from Reema's palm towards all over the covered wagon.

For the first time, Shams had a direct observation and witnessed a cultivator perform such a technique.

"Energy Barrier!" chanted by Reema.

A technique where a cultivator releases a tremendous amount of ki and uses it as a shield from any threats.

At the same time, Feilong released his sword from its scabbard and tried to face his opponents.

There was a large bear-like beast that started running in his direction. It seems that this beast relies only on its heavyweight and claws.

Basically, this beast just asked for its death wish.

Shams became curious about how would Feilong take down the beast on his own.

Especially the beast is towering Feilong in height.

As Shams watches Feilong in a defensive stance.

He saw his handsome senior holding the sword pointing at the wild beast.

Then a light glimmered around the sword before Feilong made his deadly move as well.

"Death Strike!" uttered by Feilong.

A sword technique where the cultivator releases a powerful blast of energy through the sword.

It cuts through even to the thickest fur or skin.

When Feilong reassured that all threat was eliminated, he went back immediately towards the covered wagon and saw that everyone was alright.

"No one got hurt?" Feilong reassuring that everyone was alright.

"We are alright!" Reema replied.

Even though, they have survived… Shams could not stop thinking about how powerful Cultivators are.

'I need to learn those moves, ASAP! I want to be stronger!' declared by Shams to himself.
