Final Showdown (Part I)

Moments after the match between Maya and Barette.

Ended in a very disappointing way.

Though, the crowd from the audience enjoyed the match between the two female {Junior-Ranked} disciples.

Loud cheers from the crowd.

Enthusiastic and amazed by the match they just witnessed.

"Wow! Barette won. Those two female disciples really did not hold back with their attacks. It was an intense and entertaining match between these fine ladies. And it is clear that the audience loved what they just witnessed." The commentator shared his thoughts.

His colleague responded with his own perspective regarding what went down in the match.

"I agree … It was intense! They have impressive techniques. Who would have thought that those girls would have such tenacity and powerful moves which left us wanting for more? I feel bad for Maya because we could see how much she wanted it. Too bad, Barette was more skillful with her combination attacks. I hope Maya recovers well and she must not feel ashamed of what went down in her match. She truly exhibited remarkable performance in her match."

Master Wushu and the other senior disciples went immediately towards the infirmary to check on Maya.

While others remained to check on the next matches.

Billy got frustrated and was clearly mad after witnessing Maya's loss.

Though, they had to stay within their area.

Especially Billy, whose match was the next one to follow.

Unlike the match between Maya and Barette, the following matches ended quickly.

Because both, Billy and Shams, were determined to win their own matches for the defeat incurred during Maya's match.

Pride over their fellow disciple over took their senses.

The intention to redeem the hurt and humiliation which Maya felt upon losing against Barette.

It lasted for few hours before the match of Maya concluded in her defeat.

Compared to the following matches which ended only for few minutes.

As everyone waited for the final showdown.

The huge screen within the coliseum flashed the recap of the matches.

* Hawks versus Likeru *

* Billy versus Ford *

<_Billy won_>

* Rankuza versus Hagurn *

People were amused and showing their support for their own bet to win in the final showdown.

- Moments after -

"We are now approaching to the final showdown for the {Junior-Ranked} Division. A surprising turn of events. Who would expect that the following matches would end quickly? And once again, the disciples of Master Wushu are dominating the tournament. Did you expect this scene outcome?" the commentator was curious for his colleague's input.

For a moment his colleague contemplated before responding.

"I think … most of the audience would agree with me when I say this. OF COURSE! Undefeated champions … since time memorial. Paved way for the new master such as Narcisso. Known today as Master Narcisso. So definitely, I am rooting for the disciples of Master Wushu. I have expected for this outcome since the start. Despite some hiccups along the way. It is just unfortunate that Maya is not here with them."

"Final showdown will be very disadvantageous for Barette. Since it will be a royal rumble! If I were the disciples of Master Wushu, we would work together and eliminate Barette first as a revenge for the defeat of Maya."

"This round is truly not in favor for Barette. Imagine three opponents going at your direction."

For the final showdown, the referee instructed each finalist to position themselves in their own corner respectively.

Everyone was anticipating for the final showdown in {Junior-Ranked} Division.

The referee was standing in the middle of the squared-structure arena.

"Remember … only after my mark, you can start your attack. Be wary of the rules. Even though this is a royal rumble. Same rules apply!" the referee explained.

On his mark, he signaled the start of the battle.

"Let the final showdown, BEGIN!"

Barette was already expecting for the three disciples to lunge an attack towards her as she stood on her corner.

She knew it will take time for all three of them to get on her side.

Given that she has an ability to increase the gravity and greatly reduce the speed of their movements.

The three young disciples of Master Wushu glance at each other from their separate positions.

And quickly they lunged their attack.

When Barette thought she could easily use her ability.

Hawks already planned a technique that will counter her ability during her own match against Maya.

During those times, Hawks had already calculated the appropriate and effective techniques against her.

Electric static shock prevented the supposed gravity pull technique of Barette.

"Damn it!" Barette panicked in her mind.

Thinking of how to deal the three at the same time.

As the three lunged an attack, including the tamed beast of Hawks which made it fourth opponent that was fast approaching on her way.

Unexpectedly, when Shams appeared in between Hawks and Billy.

Shams released a powerful energy blast from his two palms.

Aimed respectively towards Hawks and Billy.

Both disciples were surprised as they got thrown off from their original positions.

Thor utilized its super speed to use its body as a shield of Hawks. And the tamed wolf's body pushed Hawks few meters away.

While Billy received the blast completely but he was quick in hardening his skin.

Billy used his hardened ability.

Instead of falling completely off from the arena, Billy extended the floor of the arena to his landing area to prevent from falling out of bounds.

Hawks wanted to scream 'Ryoku' but the audience and the officials were all thinking of Rankuza's name instead of his true registered name.

If he does this … it will only stir more problems for his master and his fellow disciples.

The tamed beast of Hawks was completely unconscious after receiving Shams' fully powered energy blast.

"Have a shame to you both! This is a royal rumble … not a tag team match! No one is safe from the other. Prepare yourselves, things are about to get ugly!" Shams declared.

Literally, everyone was shocked from what just happened.

Even, Barette was astonished and struck from what just happened.
