The Attack

Next morning

ISAAC'S POV

" So Eric, how was the kingdom like since I left," I said.

" It has changed so much, we became stronger, maybe even stronger than you, " Eric said.

" Yeah, good luck with that, " I said.

April entered the room.

" both the Magia and Gana soldiers are ready to go. " April said.

" I will be right there, " I said.

" Isaac may I talk to you in private? " April said.

" Oh yeah sure " I replied.

Once we were alone.

" Isaac I want to say..." April said right before I interrupt her.

" look if this is about yesterday, I am sorry I know this is not the time or place at all about sharing my feelings with you and I am sorry for occupying your mind from the battle that we must fight. " I said

" Isaac what I wanted to say is, I like you too and I think it..." April said and was interrupted by screaming sounds.

The Guards ran to us.

" Isaac, Magland's soldiers are trying to destroy our castle," Eric said.

I looked at April

" Isaac we need to fight, we can't let Arthur have this kingdom as he has ours, " April said.

I took out my sword and ran toward the exit with the rest of the soldiers.

As we got out we started fighting the Maglands until it felt like we might win but a dozen catapults with huge rocks of fire headed toward the castle.

And a huge explosion just happened.

The wizards made a shield spell on the castle.

" Eric use your magic to take out the fire, April is still inside, " I said.

" I can't Isaac, there is only one way to save her and you know it, " Eric said.

I took a heavy sigh and rushed toward the castle.

"Isaac you will die if you go in there," Eric said.

"I don't care, as long as I am with her," I said.

I got inside but there was fire everywhere and a lot of damage and a lot of dead people.

" APRIL!! " I shouted.

-Cough Cough-

" Isaac, I am here" April said.

I ran to her, and there was a huge rock on her.

" hey, don't worry I will get you out, "

" Isaac, you have to leave," April said

" I promised I would die by your side, so we either get out of this together or die together " I said.

" Isaac just so you know for me you are not just a guard. " April said.

" And you were always my queen, " I said.

APRIL'S POV

I closed my eyes waiting for the roof to collapse on us, but it never did; instead, I felt warm and safe.

I opened my eyes to see a ball of fire shielding us.

I looked at Isaac to see that he was the one who is controlling the fire.

" Oh my God, Isaac, how are you doing this," I said.

Isaac didn't reply because he was so focused not to burn us alive.

A few moments later when we were out of the castle and safe from the fire.

Isaac fell to the ground.

" Isaac are you okay?" I asked.

Isaac still didn't reply as he was taking his breath.

Eric and the other wizards ran toward us.

" Are you okay, how did you make it out?" Eric asked.

" Isaac used a fire shield or something to get us out. " I said.

" impossible, he has no magic inside of him," he said.

Ivy looked at Isaac with a shocked look

" I can't believe this, " Ivy said.

" what is it?" I asked.

" my mom used to tell me stories about a myth who was not a wizard but controlled the elements," Ivy said.

" what?" I asked.

" My mom said that he had a son who inherited his powers but unfortunately he gave him up for some monks to teach him how to control his anger and to hide his powers," Ivy said.

I looked at Isaac since I knew he grew up with monks.

" Isaac why didn't you tell me this?" I asked

" because I buried this part of my life, and I swore not to use my powers ever, " Isaac said.

" so why did you use it now, " I said.

" because I couldn't watch you die, " he said with a soft look on his face.

" how can he use magic without being a wizard?" Eric asked.

" He is a source of magic himself, unlike us, we channel our magic through our ancestors, he channels it through nature itself, he controls each and every single element on earth, " Ivy said.

" what does that make him?" I asked.

" It makes him an Elementalist," Ivy replied.

" so he controls fire, water, and air, or what exactly?" Eric said.

" no, he is not like us, Eric, he controls way more than our mind can imagine, he can control thunder, blood, force, shadow, and some say an Elementalist can shapeshift," Ivy said.

We all looked at Isaac.

" that is not something I am a hundred percent sure of, " Isaac said.

" We should not waste our time talking about Isaac, Arthur destroyed both Gana and Magia, " I said.

" We should first find a place to shelter, " Eva said.

" There is a cave nearby that can fit all of us, I guess," Eric said.

" then we should keep moving, " Finn said.

Later when we were sitting inside the cave and gathered around a bonfire some soldiers kept talking and looking at Isaac.

" So Isaac, how much do you remember your birth father?" Finn asked.

Isaac let out a heavy sigh.

" just.... bits and pieces, " Isaac mumbled.

" How did you know you have powers? " Eva asked.

" When I was five years old, my dad had a lot of enemies, they were all legendary wizards, he never asked for his powers while he always wanted to hide it and live in peace, no one wanted him to do so; no one wanted him to hold that much power,". Isaac created a small fire on the tip of his finger while talking. " so they captured him and cursed him to never use his powers again, and then he realized I was an Elementalist too, but he saw darkness inside of me,". while he was bouncing the fire from one fingertip to the other he turned the fire color to blue and every one looked amused." At first, he tried to help me, to teach me, but he gave up on me," then the fire's color on his finger turned black and some murmurs were heard." so he gave me up to monks, and I kept all that anger in there, and then Michael sold my brother, and I found out, " the fire jumped into the palm of his hands and then he closed his hands into fists with a black fog around his hands." and that was how I became Isaac Mikaelson." When he opened his hands a small cloud started rising and everyone kept looking at it because they never thought that was possible but then the cloud fades away." The man who can't use his own powers, "

Everyone exchanged a look with each other.

"What happened to your dad after all of this, " I asked.

Isaac took a deep sigh and looked at the bonfire.

"I don't know, but after everything that happened to me; I blame him….. I hope he dies," Isaac said.

After a couple of hours.

" isn't the Magia castle defended by magic?" I asked.

" yes, it is heavily guarded by a shielding spell, " Eric replied.

Isaac looked at me and said. " then how can it burn to the ground, "

" Wait, that spell can't be broken except by very powerful wizards," Ivy said.

"That means that Arthur has wizards in his army too," Isaac said.

"Then how can we win a fight against him," Eva said.

Everyone looked at Isaac

" Sorry but I am not going to use my powers," Isaac said while rolling his eyes.

" Isaac as a Queen I am begging you to help me claim my kingdom back," Ivy said.

I looked at Isaac and said. "as your friend I ask you to help me restore mine,"

Everyone looked at Isaac with a look saying please stand with us.

Isaac: Okay, but we need to find the enigma kingdom so that we have the upper hand in the war.

Eva: haha good luck with that.

Isaac: I think I can find it.

Iris: And how is that?

Isaac: I have been having dreams of its location.

Finn: you want us to waste our time searching upon a dream.

Isaac: if we don't search we will all die in that war.

Finn: and if we do search for it we will reach nothing while Arthur gets stronger with every second.

April: STOP!

April turned to face Isaac

April: Isaac are you convinced that you can find the Enigma kingdom because of the dreams?

Isaac: I believe that they are not just dreams, they are more like a vision.

April: if you believe you can find it, I believe in you.

Finn: my Queen, we can't...

April: Finn, I believe in him, so should everyone.

Isaac looked at April and nodded.

Ivy: Then tomorrow we will follow Isaac's dream and find Enigma.
