CHAPTER FOURTEEN

ELIOT POV

At 4:55 I pulled up at Amelia's dorm. I decided to wait until it's 5 to call and let her know that I'm out front, I don't want to seem desperate. I did a breath check because the first thing I want to do is taste those soft gorgeous lips again. I left Bryce back at the flat with Kate to wait for the food we had ordered for the evening. A double date might seem corny at our age but I could care less, as long as she's around me and I could spend as much time as I can with her.

I wonder how long I have to wait until I could ask her to be my girlfriend, the last thing I want to do is scare her off...

5:00 o' clock...here we go

Ring, ring, ri...

"Hey, I'm outside,"

"I'm on my way down" then the phone cut off and in less than two minutes Amelia comes out of the building.

Damn this girl's sexy. She has on these tight ass blue jeans, a pink t-shirt and a pink Toms. I got out of my Range to open the door for her.

"You look beautiful Amelia," I don't know what you're doing to me, I thought in my mind,

"Thank you"

Being the gentleman that I am, I took her by the hand and helped her into my SUV, closing the door after. I got in and helped her with her seat belt then drove off.

"So this is your baby" she asked, I was confused for a while until realized that she was referring to my Range,

"uh, nah I...."

"I know how you guys could be with your cars, that's why I asked"

"Well I'm not that type of guy" I said,

"Then what type of guy are you?" this question has taken me by surprise...

"ummm, what type of guy am I"...

I never had to explain myself to a girl before, I never had to talk about my personal life to anyone, especially girls. Amelia makes me feel normal, I'm comfortable around her. It's like my money and name means nothing to her, all she's interested in is me...

"Honestly I was never asked that question, but..."

"Oh my bad, I'm sorry"

"No you don't have to apologize for that, how about you tell me the type of person you are" I said, trying to focus on her and driving.

"okay, I'm a very ambitious person, I love pushing myself beyond the limit, I'm an observer, I love observing life and humans and interpreting it into my own perspective that's why I love sociology, it's my passion," a chuckle escaped me while she spoke, "what?" she asked,

"It's just that your different, I never hung out with a girl like you before,"

"Is that what we're doing, hanging out?" she's really going in on me though, I thought to myself,

"ummm..."

"Your turn" she said, cutting me off,

"Well, just like you, I'm very much ambitious, I love business and being a leader."

"That's nice," she said while I park inside my building.

She got out of the car before I had the chance to open the door for her. I guided her straight to the elevator. Her silence was killing me while we were on the elevator, I hope I hadn't said anything to upset her.

We stepped off the elevator and I guided her to my flat. I punched in my code and open the door, allowing her to go in first.

"So this is where you live huh" she said while looking around,

"Hey man, I thought I heard someone come in," Bryce walked in with Kate alongside him, both eyes on Amelia.

I could've tell that Amelia was uncomfortable, so I decided to do the introductions,

"Amelia this is my best friend/roommate, Bryce and his girl Kate, guys this is Amelia, my girl"

The look Amelia gave me was cute when I introduced her as my girl. You could tell that she wasn't expecting that but she played along,

"Nice to meet you guys," she extended her hands to shake Bryce and Kates'.

"What! Eliot has a girlfriend," Kate said sounding surprise, "I mean I thought Bridget emotionally drained you" Kate spoke, as if I wasn't there.

"Babe, let's give them some time ok, we could get the refreshments ready for the movie in the meantime," Bryce told her, in which I was grateful for.

"So I'm your girl now?" she asked, with an amusing smile on her face,

"Not yet,' I surprised myself, and her with my response.

Then I placed my lips against hers and I felt her gasp, pulling me closer to her, deepening our kiss. I could feel her heart pound against my chest and then I realized that she feel the same way I do towards her.

At this point I could care less about Bryce and Kate in the other room, I've been waiting so long to kiss Amelia, her body feels so good against mine, I had to stop before I take her right on my couch.

"AWE!" I heard Kate say and Amelia instantly pull away, causing my lips, and body to feel cold.

"Didn't mean to startle you guys," Kate continued

"It's ok, um you need some help," Amelia said while going to Kate's side,

"Eliot," Bryce called me into the kitchen,

I left the Amelia with Kate in my living room and the voice in the back of my head reminded me that it wasn't such a good idea leaving Amelia alone with someone I had a fling with. I just hope Kate's on her best behavior today.

"That girl is HOT, where the f*** you find her" Bryce whispered,

"Hey, respect my future" I scolded, I realize that I hate the idea of another guy looking at my girl,

"Dude, you love her!" Bryce said, I decided not to entertain him at that point, I'm not in love but I'm in strong like, if that's a thing...

AMELIA POV

On our way to Eliot's flat I was extremely nervous, and my hormones were all over the place from the time I heard his voice over the phone, asking me to hang out with him. I really like him, which is dangerous because we've known each other for a short time and I'm already falling.

Eliot introduced me to his roommate and his girlfriend, Kate. They seem like cool people, have never seen them around campus. Kate, his roommate's girlfriend was just as surprised as I was when Eliot introduced me as his girl, she tried playing it cool but I could tell that there's more.

Then Eliot kissed me all of a sudden. A kiss I've been craving for. He's like a drug and I'm an addict. I needed his touch more so I pulled him as close to me as I can and slid my tongue in his mouth. I heard him groan in my mouth which made me kiss him harder. Then I heard Kate awed at us which brought me back to my senses causing me to push Eliot away.

"Didn't mean to startle you guys," I heard her say,

"It's ok, um you need some help," I said, trying to calm myself down

I heard Bryce call Eliot, leaving Kate and I alone.

"So how long have you guys known each other?" she asked, while I helped her out...

"Um, a couple of days," I confessed,

"And you're already his girl, that's so not like Eliot, he must really like you"

"Really, why?" I asked, diverting my attention to Kate.
