57: enemies
"Looks like we can't go any further until we learn the truth behind these icebergs."
Nami stated before turning to Franky
"Franky! I'd like to borrow something."
Nami stated with a sly smile. The two then went below deck for awhile after telling something to Sanji. Sanji then went to the helm and switched the dock system of the sunny.
"Soldier dock system, channel 3!"
Which opened up the side of the ship to reveal a small shark submarine with Franky and Nami inside it
"Shark Submerge III, take off!"
Yelled out franky as he drove the submarine out of the ship and started it's descent into the water.
(With Franky and Nami)
"Well? How does it feel inside my Shark Submerge III? Ain't it super?"
Franky asked while turning to look at nami next to him
"Sanji-kun, do you copy?"
Nami asked over the radio completely ignoring Franky
"She blew me off..."
Franky stated while somewhat pouting.
"I read you loud and clear, Nami-san. So? Have you learned anything yet?"
Was the reply over the radio
"It looks like we'll have to dive a bit deeper... Franky, please take us directly under the icebergs."
Nami stated while looking through the eye glass
"Sure thing!"
Franky stated as he drove the submarine deeper into the water and underneath the icebergs.
"Huh? Whats that?"
Nami asked as she spotted something flash past the looking glass
"What is it, Nami-san?"
"Did you find something?"
Both Franky and Sanji asked.
"Please slow down a bit. Stop right there! What is that?"
Nami questioned while seeing a massive black blob attached to the bottom of the icebergs. Getting a bit closer she realized what it was whe the creature turned their shining red eyes towards the submarine
"They noticed us!"
"What did?"
"I don't know!"
"What?"
"They're heading straight for us!"
"What are?!"
"Just get us out of here!"
Namii and franky yelled at each other, before Franky started to speed of
"Crap! Crap! Crap! What's going on?!"
"Go faster!"
Both continued to yell at each other as they fled from the creatures behind them.
(With the sunny group)
After hearing both Franky and Nami yelling at each other but not being able to get a response as to what is happening the crew grew worried. They rushed to the side of the ship when they felt something bump the bottom and were able to see a small shadow that looked like the submarine being chased by a very large shadow. As they were watching the shadows race underneath the water the large shadow bumped into a nearby iceberg sending it crashing towards the ship, causing it to be launched into the air on the giant wave generated from the movement. The crew on the ship were all launched into the air off the ship with Robin using her devil fruit to haul herself and alex back onto the ship, unfortunately she wasn't able to reach either Usopp or Sanji as they got launched the furthest of the group, making the group separate again.
(With sanji and Usopp)
After their crash landing into an iceberg
"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow...."
Sanji mumbled as he crawled up from the ground
"That hurts!"
Screamed out Usopp as he rolled off his head. Looking around they notice they were in a crevice inside the iceberg
"We must have fallen from there..."
Sanji stated as he looked up at the open air above them.
*splash*
turning to the sound of water Sanji and Usopp notice a penguin standing on the edge of their platform looking at them.
"Dang! if it isn't a cute penguin. penguin! pen-pen! Penguin!"
Usopp exclaimed as he rushed in-front of the penguin and tried to pet it, causing the penguin to open its mouth full of sharp teeth and bite Usopps hand.
"youch!"
usopp screams out after ripping his hand out of the penguins mouth
"hey look..."
sanji suddenly states with a very serious voice interrupting Usopp screams of pain. looking up Usopp notices why sanji sounds so serious. all around the inside of the iceberg where the penguins with sharp teeth staring at them like prey.
"It's a penguin colony! Wh-what should we do?"
Usopp asked as he stepped closer to sanji
"What type of question is that? Our only option is to run!"
Sanji yelled out before kicking down on the platform breaking it into pieces as he and Usopp escaped the penguins who acted like throwing knives and dives at them to impale them on their beaks.
"Damn it! What's with these birds?!"
Sanji yelled out
"Someone please tell me! Please save me! Help me!"
Usopp kept screaming as he ran.
(Alex and Robin)
After losing both Sanji and Usopp, Alex and Robin quickly checked the ship to make sure it was okay and nothing was damaged. After doing this they both brainstormed in what they should do
"I can go look for Zoro, o should be able to gather his scent when i shift into cat form hopefully"
Alex stated as she looked across the table to where Robin was sitting deep in thought
"Lets do that then, you go find Zoro, and ill stay with the ship for when everyone returns."
Robin said with a slight smile.
Hearing this Alex quickly waved before jumping onto the closest iceberg and shifting into her cat form and running in the direction they came from hoping to get a hint of Zoro's scent. While running she spotted a little girl making her way towards the ship but decided to leave her to Robin as she had faith in Robins abilities. Long after the ship disappeared from her sights she finally managed to catch a scent of Zoro, but it wasn't coming from the direction she was expecting and figured Zoro tried walking somewhere and got lost again.
Following the scent she found herself outside what seems to be an oasis in the arctic as there was grass and trees growing, there was fog in the air due to it being warm near the buildings and cold outside. As she walked towards the largest building she spotted a bird carrying their jolly roger towards a window on the uppper floor of the building
'So thats where the head guy is huh'
Alex thought as she heard jobial laughter and what sounds like Zoro yelling. Knowing Zoro would be able to handle himself just fine as long as it came to battle and not directions she decided to leave him be and search for relevant information about the world and any major events that happened recently.
