The bedroom is a sanctuary, just ask any teenager. A private place to recharge and escape the craziness of adolescence. Luke used to love spending time alone in his room, he was no different from the rest of them in that regard … he cherished his sanctuary. A custom-built shelf filled with books on aviation hung above the computer desk below. Luke never owed a desktop, preferring the compactness of a laptop computer which always remained plugged into the wall. Large wooden block letters still hung above the bed; E = MC, a reminder of Luke's younger years and his love of Albert Einstein. A large poster of the Wright Brothers and their history making flight hung on the bluish-grey walls opposite the bed. The tranquil color used to have a calming effect, at least it did before the voice came and stole the serenity.
