Would he even have any type of future if people knew; if the truth came out about his brother? Nobody in their right mind would hire the brother of a convicted murderer. Luke reached into his bag, opening the hidden pouch that revealed the letter. He took a deep breath and touched the outside of the envelope, feeling an icy chill run up his spine.
