Standing in front of the mirror in my room, I adjusted my uniform to ensure I didn't look too sloppy. At least I could correct some parts of this mess. For a brief moment, I stared at the mirror, looking back at my reflection the events of the previous day played back in my head like some unending melody, the promise I made to myself, or rather the declaration I had made to myself.
" I want to stop this unfairness."
Though it was probably something my brain had come up with within the heat of the moment, I knew without a doubt that there were genuine feelings behind those words. But my rationality stopped me for a moment, just how would I go about stopping this unfairness. The very same questions I used to use as excuses for my indifference, were now popping up cutting through that declaration I had made. I looked down at the ground for a moment, hesitating on whether I would really be able to accomplish such a task.
