A Blur of lines

Standing in front of the mirror, I adjusted my tie and checked my hair for a moment. Everything seemed in order, giving myself a quick thumbs-up before I walked out of the room.

" Well as usual she's still not out yet. But if we don't leave we could be late."

Staring at the toilet door that was closed, I couldn't help but chuckle for a moment. The sun was shining brightly, yet the breeze was so chilly that even inside it was still cold. Looking back at the pictures placed on the cabinet near the sofa, I walked over and picked one up. Looking at it, I was filled with nostalgia and feelings of the past. Before I knew it a grin had formed on my face.

" You sure love looking at that one huh?"

" Woah you scared me. You're out earlier than expected."

" What does that mean?"

She stared at me with her eyes full of murderous intent.

" Nothing! Don't take it to heart."
