At the Imperial Passinam Palace, inside Prince Huvere's Courtyard, Princess Zahrona sat languidly on one of the seats in her room, some pastries exquisitely presented on a low stool beside her.
She bit into one of them, then chewed, carefully savouring its taste, as she watched Nornu pace up and down the large room.
But, shouldn't she be the one pacing anxiously in this manner?
She swallowed down what she had in her mouth, then called the agitated woman;
"Nornu. Come." She waved her over, "Sit, and have some food."
Not daring to disobey her Crown Princess, Nornu walked to Princess Zahrona's side, pulled a seat, and sat down close to her.
Still her anxiety would not let her relax, as after some minutes, she asked in a low voice, "My Lady, what do you think is happening on the battlefield, right now?"
It was the very day of the war between the Bogols, their Mahlinian Tribe, and the Passinam allies.
