The next day, Princess Zahrona rose up early, and happily prepared for the day, with the help of her servants.
She had just finished preening in front of the bronze mirror, when Nornu entered, and informed her that Princess Kujoth was around to see her.
Nodding, she told Nornu to lead the way, then both of them walked out of her chambers, to her waiting room.
On sighting her, Princess Kujoth immediately rose up with her maids, and bowed respectfully, saluting Princess Zahrona.
Princess Zahrona took her seat, bade them rise, then told them not to stand on formality with her.
But Princess Kujoth wouldn't dare.
Still kneeling down with her servants, the repentant Passinam Princess cupped her hands, and solemnly begged Princess Zahrona to forgive her of her previous wrongful actions, and vowed not to repeat them.
Princess Zahrona smiled, then rose up from her seat, and walked to where Princess Kujoth was kneeling.
