Let's get the party started!

"It's so beautiful. I am dying to go inside. Let's-" Anna looked at Alira whose jaw was lying on the floor.

"My oh my!" Alira was completely smitten.

"What? You alright Ali?" Anna followed Alira's eyes to see what was the matter.

A slender, young man, probably in his early twenties, getting off from his cloudy gray Bentley Continental GT. Wearing an umber colored tux with dark-red rose boutonniere matched with black combat boots. Hair fringed up, he was wearing a confident smile on his face making him look all charismatic.

"Handsome!!" Alira uttered.

Anna bursted into laughter. "Look at you, Ali. Drooling over one guy" she giggled.

"Shut up! Will you.." Alira muttered, not taking her eyes off of that man.

"OMG! OMG! Ann" Alira fidgeted.

"What?"

"He is coming here. I think he caught me staring and now he is coming to make fun of me!" She jittered. "Ann, do something."

"What the heck Ali!"

"Wait, Let me think," Anna gulped. "Let's just pretend nothing happened and go inside, okay?"

"Okay," Alira swiftly turned and headed up the stairs. Anna was dumbstruck with the speed Alira showed. "Wait for me" she shrieked and ran to catch up with Alira.

"Excuse me, ladies" someone called.

"Best of luck Ali" Anna whispered. "Let's face it together" she whispered to Alira who was one step ahead of her. Alira nodded in agreement. Anna turned swiftly while Alira turned slowly. Embarrassed smile was plastered on Alira's face.

Elegantly stepping up on the stairs, he approached them. Greeting them with a heart-melting smile he spoke, "Let me do the honor"

Anna breathed out in relief and greeted him back with a beautiful smile. "Sure," she said.

The man's lips curved into a pleasant smile. He then turned to face Alira. Looking her square in her eyes, he winked at her with a proud smirk.

Alira was caught off guard. Her eyes widened while an almost idiotic smile plastered onto her face.

The boy moved past her. Alira was standing still in shock, trying to sink in what just happened.

The boy turned the knob and opened the door. Just as the door was being pushed back the inside of the place, bountifully decorated with the combination of flowers, balloons and colorful tiny LEDs, became clearly visible. The groovy music could be easily heard. Anna's eyes lit up automatically and a sudden gush of excitement ran through her veins.

"Are you coming in or not?" The boy asked as he was still holding the door open for both of them.

"Yeah" Anna looked at Alira whose system wasn't processing anything. Grabbing her hand Anna took her inside.

"Thank you so much," Anna bowed to that man.

"Don't mention that" the man smiled from eye-to-eye.

"Thank you so much for coming," Jack approached them.

"Here comes my lover," the man giggled, showing his bunny teeth.

"What!?" Jack immediately stopped in his tracks and raised a brow.

"Happy Birthday Jack!" The boy took out a peachy rose from the inner pocket of his suit.

"Oh my!" Anna whispered under her breath.

"Thank you Adam" Jack smiled hesitantly as he took the rose from him.

"ADAM!" Alira uttered softly. Anna immediately turned to her and mouthed "What are you doing?". She threatened her with her eyes extended to the maximum. Luckily, none of the boys heard her.

"By the way, where is-"

"Something urgent came up which needed to be taken care of. So he couldn't make it tonight. He is sorry for not coming and he wishes you a very Happy Birthday." Adam answered in one breath.

"Aah, I can understand" Jack smiled and turned to Anna.

"Happy Birthday Head!" Anna greeted him.

"Thanks, Anna"

"And please call me Jack"

"By the way you are looking lovely.", He smiled.

Anna's cheeks turned red. "Thank you so much Head- I mean Jack." She grinned.

Jack smiled with his eyes. then his eyes went to Alira who was lost in her own world. His brows furrowed in confusion.

Anna sensed the awkwardness. "The decoration is fabulous Jack", she said to change the topic.

"Thanks." A proud, and a bit shy smile worked its way on his face. He opened his mouth to say something but someone entered the place at that very moment. Looking at them, he greeted them with his welcoming smile. Turning back to the three of them he said, "Come on in, enjoy the party. I'll join you guys soon." Jack stepped back to make the way for all of them.

"We'll surely do." Adam replied. Jack went to the people who just arrived.

"Come" Adam bowed with his left hand extended in front, indicating the ladies to go in first. Anna grabbed Alira's hand and took her inside.

The place was crowded yet Anna was feeling lonely, because the only friend she had had gone mad. Alira was nervous. She was smiling like an idiot and Anna knew the reason.

"Come on Alira. What are you a high school girl?" Anna whispered into her ear. Alira looked at Anna and she was not mad at her comment. She simply ignored Anna and got back to her work.

"Seriously!" Anna breathed out sharply and raised an eyebrow.

"Hey! Look who's here" someone called out from the back.

The voice was familiar to Anna. She turned around to see who it was.

It was Todd.

"Hey!" Anna's eyes lit up again. She finally got a company.

"Hey Anna. Hello Alira" Todd greeted them. "Oh my God! Look who's here, Adam Walker man!" He grinned from eye-to-eye.

"TODD!" Adam exclaimed and hugged Todd.

"So his name is Adam Walker" Alira whispered to Anna.

"Yeah, Ali. I heard him too" Anna rolled her eyes.

"Long time man! How are you? When did you return?" Todd asked as he broke the hug.

Adam was about to open his mouth to say something when Jack started announcing something.

"Please gather here everyone, cause the fun is about the start," Jack announced.

"Is he here?" Todd yelled.

"Oh, you bet he is right here with us. Ladies and gentlemen put your hands together for-" lights went off before Jack could finish his sentence.
