Adhir and Sati went to freshen up while prayas started to prepare food for her.
"Smells good," the guard said.
"Tastes good too," prayas replied.
There was a pause and then prayas asked him a question he wanted to ask for some time now.
"How long have you been queens's guard?"
"Almost a century now," he smiled.
"That's long,"
"Not for the immortal,"
"whatever ,"
Sati came out of her room and smiled as soon as the smell hit her nostrils.
"Smells good....I am so hungry," she said while Prayas served her.
Adhir expected the same but prayas ignored him and sat beside Sati. Rolling his eyes Adhir served himself.
"Can I ask what's your name?" Sati looked at Prayas.
It pinched him but he smiled.
"Prayas," he said in a soft tone.
"Nice name," she smiled and looked at the guard.
"Prithak,"
"Nice name there too," she said eating the delicious chicken and rice that Prayas had made for her.
"You cook well," she complemented him.
