POV Lisa
"The day has come," said Ana, my best friend. I knew that Ana's favorite ride was the Ferris wheel out of all the rest of the rides. Many kids in high school like the carnival as well, so it was obvious there will be a long, crowded line.
Ana starts talking about how she liked the Ferris wheel and all that. I started spacing off since I am not really interested in that. I decided to find an excuse for her to stop talking. Who knew she babbles more than a parrot. "I'll send a quick message to my parents", I said. " Ana. MY PHONE IS GONE!!!," I said realized that my phone isn't inside my purse. We both looked at each other very surprised and worried all at the same time. "What are we going to do. Lisa, you know how fun it is for me to go on the Ferris wheel. This is the LAST day to go on the Ferris wheel before it packs up," said Ana complaining.
" Maybe you left it inside your car. Check inside the restaurant we went to before here," suggested Ana. "I'm going to check everywhere we went before here. Don't say we're going to miss the carnival because we are not." I left the carnival to her car and checked all around. Afterward, I went to the restaurant where we were before going to the carnival. I entered the restaurant and went straight to the table where we sat and found my precious phone. 'I am never leaving you EVER again', I said while kissing my phone.
I went back to where Ana was. It was almost our turn to go since there were only six left to go. I knew her wish will come true. " So, do you still have a crush on Angel," said Ana. I had a crush on Angel since he was my tutor. Even though I knew it was cliché and all, I didn't care what other people think. Angel and I are ONLY three years apart. It's not THAT bad. Angel is now in his first year in college and I miss him SOOO much. How he pouts, his brown eyes, his beautiful hair... "LISA!," shouted Ana. "Some people IGNORE their friend just to think about certain people," muttered Ana. I just shook my head and smiled.
It was our turn to go. We were at the top of the Ferris wheel now and the view was so breath-taking. It looked beautiful up here. "I like being on the top of the Ferris wheel, especially because it is a great scene to get your first kiss," said Ana. Lisa wasn't paying attention to what her friend was saying because she was focused on how the city looked and how their lights are bright.
Afterward, we said bye to each other and left our home. My parents were already in bed. The only one missing was my brother, Leon. I went to my room before waking up my parents. I played "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran to help me relax and sleep. I was fast asleep when all of a sudden I heard a 'moo' come out of nowhere. I didn't really pay attention to the noise since I was half-asleep. I turned on my phone to check the message but before I saw my phone case different. Everything from "my" phone changed? I thought.
All the ringtones were different than what I adjusted them to. When I unlocked the phone to see if it was mine, it wasn't. I swapped phones with a mysterious person! Someone has MY phone! My phone is gone until I find the person and I kissed the PHONE! Lisa said whispering and screaming at the same time.
