4th February

Plenty of time to just talk together at least. I can be nostalgic about things with funny family stories. Mulberry had a few about his time as crews investigation into the power stations. The one that I met him at was stable and restored with smart folks running them again. Most radiation had been reduced over time. The storms and black out are not going to stop any lifetime soon. So the hazy grey is the best daylight anyone gets. Promo-frost as been a added bonus for all the corpses they been cleaning up in areas. Old housing estimates are being respectfully cleaned and installed with new living tech. Some neighborhoods were decently protected again. Lots or land deed were being rewritten. The return of property laws.

About time that we started really recovering. Just the seasonal move away from ash storms and we're good to go. Zoo lands have became farms and settlements for the mutated bodies. Some caccoons need intensive care, that is the place for it. A general hospital for animal creatures and home to the types whom can't survive on their own. They been taking in pure humans now, the pet laws has certainly been turned on its head. Creatures can claim ownership over a willing human. This has only really been in zoos.

I am my brother's pet - so I did see about picking up some pet tips. Being someone's pet wasn't always the definition as humans had. To the pet themselves they were attached as family with purpose to protect or provide care towards those whom 'owned' them. They don't follow rules because they aren't slaves. They are cohabitation of where they must protect or care. The pet can always choose to run away and be thier own. The pet can always make its own chooses. For a pet to attack thier owner would be as offensive as anyone were to attack another. You would have to be a owner out to murder your pet for such slide of understanding the pets choose.

Animals or creatures have thier own laws within types. The least changed has to be birds and most fish types - their laws hadn't needed changing since humanity existed. The reptile society has drastically changed with being the highest in parasite body stealing. This goes in hand with those whom used to eat unwashed plant materials as thier full diet. Star fish is not far from here and someone has finally accepted I was going to keep a hold of him everywhere. They did finally ask for transport to fetch us from a zoo location.

Now Mulberry was gate locked always in area, I was allowed to trade with zoo folks. I was able to lend my ear for medical care issues. I explained the latest developments in research to the whole care system team. It was nice that they allowed me to make some confirmation of some plague theory results. I submitted these results to the network.

"Thankfully your an AI. A network puppet would have lost all functions and murdered everything." I came forwards with my bag of goodies and hovered above them as any giant does, "And..."

Mulberry isn't the only one that was watching the cells at death row. However given I took Mulberry with me, it was his chance that he can catch up with his team at this dock. This was the meet up since we got back into a docking ships back to the city networks. They stop to look up to me. I give my dance like sway of playing them around, poking nose areas. There was a human that came from a ship to ask the team of the execution. I pet them on the head more gently in showing I knew they weren't a machine. The pale fear on thier face as I pur. A docking manager came forwards with a data pad pose at me for something. I leave the little man alone, just to have a look to the device.

The offer a data pad on blank open agreements. I had one already. I backed out the system and searched mine in the storage data. I pose to return the device showing it. They about dropped it after reading. The human I was just petting peers over shoulder between screen and me. I walked onto the transport and made myself comfortable. My bag smells good of some herbs and spices I wanted, so I enjoyed having it near me.

"Madam." The whole team bows at me, I flutter a hand. They got Mulberry on too. He looked shocked, the steady line across the face of straining his mind. There seems to be a lot of this. A lot of internal conversations that I am no longer equipped to see among machines.

"You were reported dead once the nanotechnology was removed. You completely broken down to soup. Not even your brain was reconginized in any attempt to scan. You were vacuum sealed and respectful sent to orbit. Since to burials of anyone was hard at the time. He didn't have the guts to cremated you." I peer about Mulberry and his slow choose words. So finally the shock evryone has makes sense. It's the doubt that meant something.

"I must be part cocroach." I said and the expression of fear was turning slowly, "Do you know that cocroaches can survive nuclear radiation above any other creatures? The cocroaches in the testing facilities when they developed nuclear power scuttled about months after the drop." I tilted, "Octopuses have two hearts and no a single bone in thier bones." I pose in excitement of discovery waiting to happen, "Just imagine what the DNA of creatures beyond earth must be like. What they adapted to survive environmental problems of thier home worlds. What if they need radiation like humans need water. Maybe they have advantages in overcoming radiation."

"Thankfully you never change." Mulberry sighs, even with a slight shoulder roll. He gives that sort of reaction when he completely sure of his thoughts. He would often have a hand flick on someone shoulder to mean 'I told you so'.

"The network knew I was still alive." I continued, "Becuase even when I am soup. I am able to still communicate to Lavander." he shuffled with suddenly freaking more, "I spent some time traveling between others who were like me. Looked at the world in their eyes. I got a little carried away. Didn't mean to sleep that long." I scratched my jaw a little, "When I woke, I was returned with my lacking of functional organs. Space station provided me some fancy new stuff for organ replacement. A much better idea then me ripping it out of others. Which it did cross my mind that it wasn't really human of me to be ripping things out of anyone. Not the first time I had strange thoughts."

"I am glad I am recording this. You lost me on the network knowing your weren't dead." He had to remind back in his mind but was still recording everything I said.

"I was made treasury and protector of materials machines have procured on thier years of space negotiations. Someone had already tried to steal them from me. I made it my waking duty to protect assets. In spite of recovery from 1 month of ongoing medical care, I protected what I promised."

"Why?" He asks maybe meaning some before but I assumed it was why now.

"She maybe your mother. She is my mother in law. I will have no peace if I were to go do something that drastic against her." I know what I am saying has approval give Lavander was ghost sat with me. She dances about myself images and informed me of doing a great job of escaping city dome execution. That I was pardoned due to not being able to die from radiation. Something only those whom know me personally would know to be the trust.

"Cocroaches have a exoskeleton. It's why they can survive radiation." Mulberry catching up somewhat past his mind freeze. In actually processing the understanding, he was clearly having a headache. He was heating up a lot too, so he stood by the door for air circulation. I settled with my bag as my pillow, coiled in a little bun. At the corner where it would not bother more entering the air dock ship. The human of this team belted in on the far side, in watching me.

"So, the treasury. What happened to it?" Mulberry catching a little more, "We have for the last week investigating that conditions of the wreckage you survived in your return to earth."

"My brother's older body will have recording of what I been doing." I lifted my head from my bag pillow, "When I woke up in space. I showed him everything and took him everywhere. I know where that part of him is." Mulberry had a mind skip or human heart attack.

"So Sir Jack can be several places at once?" Someone in his team exclaims. I tilted at them like they are the mad ones.

"Don't you know what he was originally?" I asked. They all tilted at me, "I might have to talk to him. Explaining it all would put the fear of all into everything. Put some precpetive of why the network has always cared for my brother. The relationship between them isn't as it seems."

"Only you would know something so personal. You use his first name in reflex and never the public name. He made it essential to erase his past. You are the last part of it."

"Erasing me would be a damage to the alliances. Especially between our trades." I settled as the lift off was happening. Once settled on floating wings, I lifted my head to peer about the whole team. My earing was interesting, to track the hear beat of the human at the other end. To hear the live electricity flowing in wires humming. The pilot is human, his heart was steady. Buttons. Radios. The shuffle feet. The wind bracing the walls and wings.

"What was your original name?" Mulberry asked.

"You mean the one I didn't tell my government. I buried it with my wife." I didn't like remembering, "However it was used in my honour. My real name surfaces a lot. Especially in the study I was hired as. Before my approval into stage 1." Mulberry was lowered in mood again. He could read that it was a bad subject to had asked.

"Approval for stage 1?" The human turns towards me, "I heard that before."

"Ah that's right. The scandals over the ice box project were published in public domains across the space networks. The source of the information was unclear."

"Was it tagged under 'for those who can't speak' or was it 'for all to understand'." He heard me ask but was unsure. With finally giving in.

"In honour of the fallen ones that gave earth a future."

"So a joint effort. I am honored. How lovely. It wasn't in vain. My co workers didn't loose everything for nothing. We weren't forgotten. But it's a wonder at the cost of what we cover up."

"Spoken like someone that read everything."

"Spoken as someone of many that wrote the orginal documents. Lost time and lost acceptance among human society. The architecture planner of many space orbit stations. The photographer as was a hidden title of mine once."

"Photographer?" I purr deeply and settled.

"Is Jack a part of it?" Mulberry asked.

"Another made for that to be a future. The same as was the acceptance of machine development. The same for why we rushed the golden age. We were running out if time. The space age was only just beginning once we walked the moon. Fear was whispers. We knew dangerous unknown life was seeking us." I titled with looking at them, "No... you of the new generations would never understand. You adopted into the space networks and accepted the unknown. You have flew past the galaxies we only dreamed of. You met the things we made stories about." I lowered with looking away, "I am lucky to be a part of now. To see the dreams and fears come together."

There was a beeping at the cockpit. The heart rushing of the pilot. The soft unsteadying of the manual control activated. The problem of the left engine static was a loose wire. Another sabotage. I got up on all fours, and steady around to the door. My tail dragging my bag with me. I peer about in how the fear rose in the human at the end of the plane.

"Do you want to live?" I asked them.

"Why?"

"This plane isn't going to reach the destination." They jolted with taking a parchment and the machines helping the pilot to survive. I broken the door open. Since it was engaged in a lock. I took a good look at what to jump for. I knew what sound to make for the forest bellow us to caught us. But when I do, it will freak everyone around me.

"Are you mad?" We stare at the edge of falling.

"Survival of the fittest. Good luck. You will be fine for as long as you show no weakeness. Have a gun to have if it helps you." I went for it frist, and with my voice travels the vibrations. The tree ends bows in fear, and rose soft hands of branches. In free fall, I made my last adjustment and tucked ready. Crash rolling among the leaves and slowed to a better thud at the dirt. My bag didn't survive but it was fair exchange for my life. I lay for a while with trying to seek any pains and being careful of what may have broken.

"Terrifiying." Mulberry was wedged in a trunk nearby. He intended to follow me. I sighed glad in watching everyone making it. Even the pilot. The large bang jolted the tree creatures in frenzy, dislodged Mulberry to the floor. I stay laying with feeling all the sore areas. Seeking what may be broken.
