The people who were jealous of Che finally found a reason to attack him with their words. Che just kept quiet and took the marriage certificate out of his clothes before giving it into Xia Qingyue's hand.

"We have already bowed to heaven and earth and to the elders. We are already official husband and wife. I indeed have no say in this however it is still Xia Qingyue's decision whether to keep the certificate or destroy it!" With that said, Che started leaving Xiao clan's grounds.

When he disappeared out of everyone's sight...

"Huh? Brother Su Meng? What are you doing here?" Che who was trembling with rage, slightly calmed down once he saw Meng leaning against the wall.

"I came here to say my farewell to Xia Qingyue upon her father's request...I have been here for some time, she accepted to protect your aunt and grandfather, right?"

"...Yeah" Che was slightly puzzled why Meng wasn't confused by this fact since he shouldn't be aware of her real identity.

Xia Qingyue just calmly watched as Xiao Ba rushed towards her but in one moment, someone appeared in front of her which caused her to widen her eyes. She was able to recognize Meng even when he changed his hairstyle. She couldn't understand why would he rush in front of her.

"Who the hell are you?! Scram!" Xiao Ba screamed however even when his fist was only a few meters away from Meng, Meng's expression never changed, a polite smile with closed eyes.

Unfortunately for Xiao Ba, before he was able to even come in contact with Meng's arms, he was blown away by cold energy that has left traces of ice on the ground.

'I actually thought that she would let me take a hit, haha. Maybe she truly thinks of me as a cripple but who knows what those two discussed together.' Meng thought and before anyone could react to what has just happened, he looked up and opened his right eye just take a look at Xia Qingyue's master.

She quickly revealed herself to other slower individuals. After that, it became once again faked polite talk among the 2 most powerful sects while one side had a stronger representative at present.

"What are you doing here?" Xia Qingyue coldly asked but she instead wanted to ask why he jumped in front of her, however that would probably sound like she has been moved.

"I am leaving the Floating Cloud City, your father asked me to say my farewell to both miss Xia and her brother. I have already done so in your brother's case." Meng turned at her and replied with a smile.

During the rest of the matter, at least Meng got to know her master's name. Chu Yueli, one of the seven fairies of the Frozen Cloud Asgard. She was naturally very beautiful and definitely even colder than Xia Qingyue.

Chu Yueli made sure that Xiao Kuangyun won't do anything against Xiao Lingxi and Xiao Lie.
