Demon Form Vs Teachers

I was toying with him. Chester was my prey and I was the predator. How it got to this point is a blur. Once my power level spiked I lost almost all my short term memory and I seem to be moving off instinct. I can only hope that once I return to normal my memory returns as well.

Chester was standing in the middle of the room...watching every shadow...looking for me. Little does he know I am one with the shadows. He can no longer see or hear me. He looked scared, and that made me happy. Why it made me happy I don't know, but it did.

While Chester was waiting I attacked. I tore of his arm's joint by joint. His screams of pain were soothing. It was as if I was being serenaded by the greatest musician in the world.

After his arms I went to his legs, doing the same exact thing. Tearing them apart...joint by joint. The crunching of his bones as I ripped them from their place was awesome. It sounded like an entire rock concert when put together with his screams.

As he was laying on the floor bleeding out, I couldn't help but smile. His screams for help made me happy. Then as quickly as I sent him to the floor, he drew his last breath. His dead limp body satisfied me, but I don't know why. I dont know why I killed him. I fought him in self defense but I personally never wanted to kill him.

A commotion erupted outside as the teachers from the school were closing in on the building. As they stormed through the doors I noticed a notification in the menu.

My reading was interrupted by a scream of horror. It was Lisa Silverking. She had seen the dead body of Chester on the floor, but what interested me the most was that there was a second body on the floor.

As I walked up to the second body, everyone backed away from me. I paid no attention to them as I was more interested in the boy in front of me. When I noticed who it was my heart sank. Gory was dead, I realized this must be the reason I killed Chester. He must of killed Gory.

Before I could express my sorrow, one of the teachers kicked me away. I was stunned at first as I didn't realize what just happened. I noticed blood dripping from my mouth but it didn't bother me. At least until I noticed that my blood was on Gory's face.

When I saw that I got furious. How dare they desecrate his body when he just died. I was fine with Gory by myself, then they had to come along and make me bleed on him. When I looked up, there was 4 teachers standing over me. They kept asking me what I did, and when I didn't answer them I was kicked across the room.

Lisa knelt over Gory's body and was taking him. When I saw this I knew she was trying to take him away from me...and I lost it.

A aura filled the room. It was far more dense than earlier and I could feel my power growing. It kept rising, and rising until it stopped...it read 180,000.

One of the teachers yelled for Lisa to evacuate the building. Before anyone knew anything I had started attacking. The shockwaves from my jumps shook the building. Every punch I threw cracked through the air.

Although my power was astronomically higher than the students, I was nothing compared to the teachers. They took every hit from me like it was nothing. Before I knew it I was cornered. One of the teachers stuck their hand out and said SLEEP. I hit the floor.

I woke later in a bed. I recognized it as one of the beds in the med bay. The Nurse came up to me and told me what happened. I was shocked as I didn't remember anything, but when I heard what happened to Gory I nearly cried.

"Gory somehow recovered from his wounds. He was dead for hours and we thought we would have to write home to his parents that his son had passed. You've been cleared for the murder of Chester Yetrew. Gory told us that it was in self defense and that Chester had killed him first."

When the nurse told me this, a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I thought I was gonna be kicked from the school for murdering another student.

I was drawn to the door as Gory burst through like a football player rushing through the line. His eyes lit up when he looked at me.

"Thank god you're ok. I sensed your aura strengthen and I knew you woke up." Gory then whispered in my ear, "by the way, it turns out I'm a Demon now. When I woke up I felt something was off so I checked the tests again. The species test read both druid and Demon."

I was confused and so was the nurse. She hadn't been told this and felt like she should have. Something didn't make sense...how did he become part Demon? Then it hit me, when my blood fell on his face, it must have changed him into a Demon.

"What day is it? How long was I out?

"You have been out for 3 days. Classes have continued as if nothing ever happened. But...everyone knows what happened. One of the teachers discussed what had happened with the students and why they didn't have class that day. So don't be surprised if people give you looks."

The nurse told me what happened in the past few days and I couldn't help but thank her. She smiled and told me "Its all part of the job."

Me and Gory then headed back to our dorm room as we had classes in the morning and it was almost curfew. The nurse was agaisnt it but I insisted that I was fine.

While walking down the hallway to our room, some people who were scared ran to their rooms and locked the door. The other just stared at me like I was some sort of monster.

I couldn't help but look down at me feet. Then Gory said "Don't worry about them, they have been looking at me like that too."I smiled and said thanks to him.

As we were nearing our room we both noticed Lisa standing outside our door. When we asked her what she was doing she simply told me " Meet me after classes tomorrow behind the school. We have to talk." Then she walked to her room and shut the door.

Gory and I just looked at eachother confused as none of us knew why she would want to meet ME of all people. We shrugged it off and went to bed. We decided to figure it out in the morning.
