Tiara Falls to Slavery

"Goren Cheng," Mitchell had pointed knowingly at Miwen during a planning session at V's house. "..is a very easy man to please. He goes for girls that are easy on the eye," Mitchell explained, spreading out the photos he had collected over the days with Goren hanging out with different ladies in various areas, most of them being expensive cafes or hotel parking lots. "Talk little, and maintain eye contact, act like you know a lot about business."

Miwen narrowed her eyes. "I know only computers, food and shoe brands. What will I talk to Goren about?"

Hazel glanced at Mitchell, silently telling him to take it easy on the new member. Ever since Doctor Zha Huang had handed over his position to Mitchell, it was like he became a new person entirely. He wasn't laid back anymore. Hazel knew clearly that he was currently carrying a lot on his shoulders. His sister diving into an unknown world with an unknown guy didn't help his case either.

"Talk about computers then…think of something innovative relating to computers that can help a hotel grow," Mitchell suggested instead. It wasn't good enough, but it was better than risking it.

Miwen's eyes shone brightly. "Yes!" She twirled around in her revolving chair and got to typing at her laptop. "I'll be doing my research right now."

Miwen acted bored as Goren Cheng came closer. He had approached the bar to talk to another man in tuxedo just like every other man in the hall. Miwen slowly sipped on her drink in the sexiest way possible. She had expected the result, but it still jolted a nerve inside her when she heard his deep whisper in her ear.

"What is a stunning woman like you doing sitting here all alone?"

Miwen slowly placed down her glass and acted slightly surprised. "Mr Cheng! An honour."

"Is mine," he smiled and sat down next to her. "Are you with anyone?" He stroked her bare arm as if it was a casual gesture. Miwen's skin itched but she bore with it.

"I was, my cousin left a few minutes ago."

Goren laughed lightly. "How fortunate. Say, what in the world is that drink?" He looked at her glass with disgust. "Hey!" he called the original bartender over. "Get me two of the specials."

Miwen smiled as she let Goren buy the drink for her. The next few minutes continued in flirty murmurs and Goren insisting on drinking even more. She knew it. He was trying to get her tipsy.

"Are you feeling cold, Ms Liao?" Goren asked politely.

Miwen wasn't feeling cold. She was sweating on the inside, she was feeling frustrated at how his hand was rudely placed on her thigh and creeping towards the slit in her dress. She wanted to kick him right there, in front of everyone.

"Ah yes, a little bit," she muttered, looking down at her feet. Goren stood up and held her shoulder. "Come then, I'll take you somewhere warmer."

Miwen stood up with him and Goren led her to the exit of the hall. Miwen's eyes flitted to the far right and spotted Hazel standing in the corner with the laundry and a mop, ready for action. Miwen nodded slightly and Hazel nodded back.

As Goren and Miwen exited the hall, Hazel was hot on their trail, disguised as the hotel room service.

… … …

"What are you saying?" Her voice barely came as a whisper. "I told you I saw you as a brother!" She stepped back, fearing her life.

"No it's not what you think, Just one kiss, with no meaning at all. I wanted to check something," Percy tried to explain. But it was too late when he realised that he probably sounded like a total pervert to her. He stepped forward and Tiara stepped backward. She hastily went through her inventory and tried to find anything useful.

She gasped in joy when she found that one of the drops was actually a dagger made out of Dramon fangs. She instantly pulled that out.

[Black Fang Dagger

*Deals -2 HP damage to a Player

*Ineffective against Dramons

*Weapon Type: Upgradable. Can level up with continued use. ]

"Stay away from me, you pervert! I'm telling Mitchell!" She brandished the dagger at him.

Percy stood his ground. "Tiara please understand. You're over-reacting, it's just a kiss. And you said you'll answer."

Tiara shook her head, dread filling in her heart. Was she really over-reacting? Did adults do this all the time? Kiss a person just because they ask you to? Without any reason?

"Wh-why?" Her voice trembled. "Why do you want to kiss me?"

"To check something."

"To check what?" She held the dagger tighter in her grip.

Percy sighed. "You know what, never mind. Leave it, let's go to the mountains."

"Why won't you at least tell me the reason?" Tiara yelled at him. She was standing so far away from him now.

"I told you, just forget about it, I never asked," Percy ran a hand through his hair. Right, what was he thinking? Even the last time when Tiara was in his room--Prince Hao's room--Percy remembered that he had felt like kissing her. But he never felt like it in the real world. 'Is the system doing something to my thoughts?'

Percy proceeded to walk away when he felt something cold and hard pressed onto his back. The hair on his arms stood up in alarm. Tiara had caught up to him and was now holding him at dagger-point. "Tell me or I'll kill you," Tiara threatened in her cute voice.

Percy covered his mouth to hide his laugh. He didn't turn back to look at her face because then he was sure that he'd break down laughing. He coughed instead. "Go on then."

"It's my own weapon this time, not yours. It'll really kill you."

Tiara watched the back of Percy's head bob up and down. "Okay, go on, Miss Murderer."

Tiara frowned and then sighed. She lifted the dagger from Percy's back and dropped it back into her inventory. Her mind was a swirl of confusing thoughts right now. And it was driving her crazy. Being in his presence annoyed her even more.

"The Mountains, right?" Tiara asked.

Percy nodded, still trying to hide his smile. "Yep. You still owe me one for not answering, remember?"

Tiara rolled her eyes, taking the lead on the way out of the swamps and towards the mountains. "Torture, right? Do it after we clear this level." She couldn't believe she was giving him permission to actually torture her.

Percy bent forward and looked her in the face. "You sure?"

Tiara nodded.

Percy lifted his hand. "What do you kids do when you make promises? Something pink… uh…"

Tiara blew up her cheeks in a pout. How can he not know that word? "Pinky promise."

"Ah yes," He curled his left hand into a fist and jutted out his pinky finger. "Come on now, don't be shy."

Tiara lifted her right hand out of childish instinct and the tips of their pinkies touched. Percy curled his pinky over hers and pulled her closer. She gulped and refused to look into his eyes. "I'm still telling Mitchell about this."

"I'll double the torture," Percy whispered into her ear sweetly.

After a few minutes Tiara looked down at her feet. "Maybe telling him can wait."

Percy ruffled her hair with his other hand. "Good girl, now let's go collect some flowers."
