Bully vs Bully

"Or what." He threatened, all humour in his voice gone with the dust in the room.

"Are you going to drag your frozen body down here and save your poor little brother? Who am I kidding, the whole Keeser family is shit."

"Is that why you are trying to murder all of the Keeser family?" Tiara yelled back. When it came to Goren, she was always ready to fight, But she hoped she was wrong and that Goren wasn't actually trying to murder her brother.

"Murder?" Goren said sarcastically. "Who are you to talk to me about murder?" He laughed. "You wanna know what your brother just did?" He held the phone to his lips and whispered the words that would haunt Tiara forever.

"He. Murdered. My father."

"Stop spouting lies, you walking piece of rotten donkey tail!" Tiara cried into the phone. Eight years later, Goren is still alive. Why can't the bad ones just die?

Goren laughed. "Still the same old vocabulary I see. Cute. You know what's cuter, your brother begging for mercy at my knees."

Mitchell gathered enough courage to move his head upward and look Goren in the eyes. "You're not killing me until you tell me why you tried to kill Tiara that day." Hot red blood dripped from Mitchell's nose from the constriction Goren was applying on Mitchell's veins.

"Oh, so that's what you want to know. Sure, I can tell you that," Goren shrugged. "She bullied me a lot, so I told my father and he ordered her death to make my life easier. Simple as that. But her skin's so thick that she only got paralysed."

Mitchell's knees twitched slightly as he tried to fight back and punch Goren in the face. If only he could reach for his gun right now…

"You were the bully, not me!" Tiara yelled into the phone.

"Tiara, why are you victim-blaming here?" Goren whined.

"You are the one who is doing that!"

"Any proof, frozen princess?"

"It doesn't need any proof. One look at you and everyone will know what an a-hole you are!"

Goren laughed. "I feel like I'm talking to a kid. Oh wait, I am."

"Cut the call, Goren," Mitchell managed to spit out.

Goren bent down to look him in the eye. "And save her the torture of hearing you die, no way." Goren frowned and strengthened his hold on Mitchell. He started to scream, falling face first onto the floor and writhed with pain.

Tiara covered her mouth, tears falling from her eyes. Her brother's screams echoed throughout the quiet studio flat. "Leave him alone, Goren. Please…"

"No bargains sweetie. He killed my father."

Tiara broke out crying because she didn't know what else to do. Mitchell's words resurfaced in her mind. When she stood up to Goren, it wasn't just her who will face the consequences, but the people close to her will also face it. She finally understood what those words meant.

"Mitchell I'm sorry, please Goren leave him alone." But her words fell into nothingness.

Her eyes fell on Percy who hadn't woken up yet either. "Percy come back… do something."

But this time, her heart knew for sure. Percy isn't coming back to help her this time.

The hotel room's door bust open to reveal Hazel and Miwen with knives in their hands. They both ran forward and pulled Goren back and slammed him against the bed.

Hazel moved quickly, she grabbed the gun from Mitchell's coat and shot two bullets, one at Goren's leg and one at his right wrist. Since she was a nurse, she knew which joints were the weakest and targeted exactly that to make Goren basically immobile.

Goren groaned as Miwen held him against the bed and signaled to Hazel. She took out the rope and tied Goren to the bedpost tightly. "Didn't realise you had dom qualities, Ms Liao. Impressive," he slurred, eyeing Miwen.

"Did you call the police?" Miwen ignored him and asked Hazel.

Hazel nodded. "Yeah I'm going to."

"No…" A small voice whimpered from the other end. Hazel turned to look at Mitchell who had now stopped writhing as Goren wasn't able to control him anymore. They could only control the people they are directly looking at and Miwen was unknowingly covering Goren's vision of Mitchell.

"Don't call the police, please."

"Why not?" Hazel kneeled in front of Mitchell and wiped the sweat from his forehead. She took out a napkin and wiped the blood from his nose. "I knew I couldn't leave you alone in here. V is too injured and he is in the van, but Miwen is more or less fine."

Mitchell nodded. "Let's leave. I'll explain everything in the van."

Hazel tilted her head at him and then noticed the dead body right next to her on the floor. She gasped and covered her mouth. Miwen's cat like face was in shock too as she stared at who was definitely Mr. Cheng.

Hazel and Miwen looked at Mitchell's face which was now not only tired but filled with regret. "I'll explain…"

Hazel and Miwen decided to give Mitchell the benefit of doubt and helped lift him up. They took the emergency exit to get to the van while Goren thrashed around in his bed, trying to call for help. But there was currently no one on the floor to help them out.

Tiara on the other hand felt her heartbeat slow down. Somebody had come to save him after all. She was supposed to be relieved. But inside her, it was just this messy feeling that the person to save Mitchell, wasn't her.

She heard movement from the other end and lifted her head up at Percy who was now stirring. Finally, something good. She smiled at the other man who slowly opened his eyes and tried to get his bearings.

"Percy you're back!" she squeaked in delight.

Percy's eyes wandered around the room for a while as he came to before landing on Tiara's overjoyed face. His upper lip curled as he looked at her. 'Fucking bitch.'
