I wonder where they are...

"This time around, you're not allowed to do anything other than the Dragon's rage. Nothing on offense or defense, you'll just stroll around the Mediocre sect's base while turning on the Dragon's rage." Goldy spoke.

"There's a turning on process for the Dragon's rage?" I wasn't aware of such a phenomenon for any skills that I've seen. There's the command action, maybe that's what he's talking about?

"Yea, belief and…" Before he turned back into his motivational speaker mode, I quickly interrupted him.

"Ah, I get it… But, don't you think it's gonna be really difficult? Like, I'm a novice in using the Dragon's rage. Do you think it'll cause any effect in them? And if it doesn't, don't you think that they might end up attacking me? What can I do then if you're barring me from defending myself?" I asked. Again, on paper, the name Mediocre sect wouldn't impose fear on people or give them a sense of threat. However, names can be deceiving. So, I didn't want Goldy to take a lax approach about this, no matter how easy it seems.

"Pfft. Your opinion on my behavior is mind-boggling. Like, you make it seem like I'm the most mature person one moment and the very next one, you think of me as a childish person. Like, my thoughts aren't fickle. I know what I said, and I'm telling you right now, you won't have to worry about anything. If your Dragon's rage ends up being mediocre… he~he, get it? Anyway, if it doesn't work out and someone tries attacking you, I'll get a hit on him on your behalf. So, don't raise a finger against a person this time around." He replied. Argh… I guess I end up underestimating him at times… I should stop doing that. Anyway, imagining him beating the people guarding the mediocre sect calms and worries me at the same time. You'll feel the same when you personally get a sense of his strength. I hope I'll be able to suppress them with my Dragon's rage for their own good. Or else, they might've to face his onslaught.

"Are you ready?" Goldy asked, as he waited for me as I tried out my official cat burglar costume. It was a pretty much similar routine compared to the last robbery. I just checked out certain information about the Mediocre sect, like where it's situated and stuff. Then I loitered around for the rest of my preparation period. Unlike the last time, I couldn't practice the moves that I was gonna hit on my opponents because there weren't gonna be any. And Goldy barred me from doing anything Qi related, so I couldn't practice Dragon's rage either. Well, I wouldn't have practiced it either way because I don't know how the folks in my house will react if they felt an ominous aura from my room. They might get worried and won't allow me to sleep in this room or something. So, it's pretty stupid to practice here.

Anyway, I jumped out the window in my room and followed Goldy closely. However, the farther I got from my house, the more I noticed that Goldy's trying to pick up speed. Normally, such kind of stuff should be fine. But, it seemed like we were going at a speed I didn't even think that was possible with my body. If this keeps on, I fear that I might end up tired by the time I reach the mediocre sect. I should probably do something about this first!

"Hey, Goldy! Why don't we slow our pace down a little? If we went like this, I might get tired sooner that I expected. And that isn't a good thing especially for what I'm gonna do, right?" I asked, as I panted a little.

Goldy took a glance at me and decided to heed my advice and slowed down. I guess he felt bad seeing me in such a sorry state. Well, it's been like this back on our training montage days as well. I got tired easily, but the monster trainer Goldy was relentless. Since it was for my betterment, I didn't complain and received his training, that is until I actually ended up telling him my discomfort since I couldn't move my body the way I wanted to. Upon hearing my concern, he actually reduced the difficulty of the schedule until I grew comfortable with it. I said this before, and I'm gonna say this again. He's actually a pretty good teacher.

Anyway, on my pace, we reached the Mediocre sect roughly ten minutes later than the original planned time in our initial speed. Even though that should be considered as a negative, it was a pretty big positive, since the later we got, the laxer the security of an establishment is. Other than that, if I had maintained that speed back then, I would've to eventually use Qi for it because if I don't I might end up exhausted. So, in this way, I still had the leftover Qi from yesterday. That's good, right?

"Why are you standing there? Aren't you gonna head inside?" Goldy asked as I looked around the sect base, which looked unsurprisingly mediocre. However, compared to our house, it could be considered heaven… Barring from Hua Liu's room, of course. That might be grander than the rooms here…

"I'm surveying the paths that we should take." I replied, to which Goldy gave out a confused expression.

"What do you mean? We're going through the front door and not stealthy this round. You know that, right?" He asked as if that's something that I'm supposed to know by default. It's you who can peek into my thoughts, not the other way around!

Anyway, stealth and Dragon's rage don't necessarily complement each other, so I should have got an idea about it from that. However, even if it isn't for moving in stealth, it would still be a good idea to look at all the exits that this place has, so that we could just get the hell out if some unforeseen circumstances happens. Therefore, I ended up making him wait for a bit longer than he wanted, due to which he pouted for quite some time. We ended up reconciling when I apologized to him though, so all's well that ends well....

We walked towards the front door after this, however I stopped midway. No, I wasn't surveying, I was just worried that I won't be able to turn on Dragon's rage in time, so I wanted to activate it a bit earlier for the smooth functioning. The problem was that I had no idea how to do that even after Goldy spoke of it several times. Like, I'm supposed to believe in it, and it's just gonna work? Wait a minute… It actually worked? That was it? I felt it… An aura slowly coursing through my body. The aura was neither dark like the evil aura nor bright like the good guy aura. How should I explain this…. It looked transparent for the most part. It gave off the feeling that several auras got mixed up to form this one. I don't know how I got this insight; this was just the natural thought I had when I saw it and since I believe in my instincts a little too much, I believed in this one as well. By the way, I did see a faint green glow in the aura, which didn't make sense. Hear me out. This aura is made from Qi, right? So, shouldn't the aura show something like a blue aura, corresponding to my Qi level? While I tried diving deep on that topic, I noticed that the green glow was nowhere to be seen. Maybe it was my imagination after all…

"Did you have your share of fun staring at the aura? If you did, let's head to the entrance now, shall we?" Goldy asked, to which I silently nodded my head.

This aura that I had around me is supposed to be intimidating according to Goldy, but I didn't feel anything intimidating with it. Rather, it's the complete opposite to that sentiment that I had. The aura was welcoming and warm. I don't know how it's gonna inflict fear in someone's mind. But there's always a chance that what's warm for me might be literal terror for someone else. So, I was kinda excited about the reactions that the guards might have.

However, I saw no one at the front door. I expected someone there, but it seemed like they went on a break or something. Hoping that was the case and after frantically looking around for any secret attackers which I didn't find, I made my way inside.

I was surprised. It was the same on the inside as well. There was no one there. It was really weird. I couldn't even hear a single thing. I mean, it's looked as if it's a haunted house with no occupants; really creepy. I wonder where the people in this place actually went…
