Chapter 8: My Bully

Amelia's P.O.V

"Amelia and.... Looks like Amelia has no partner so she would pair up with anyone of her choice and also if the pair accepts" he said and I turn to Leah "can I be part of your group" I ask

"Yeah sure but if Hans agrees then you can and here he comes" Leah says

'hey, uh are you uh Leah?" he asks

"Yes, can Amelia join our group'' she asks while blinking rapidly

Hans thinks for some time before nodding. Mr. Collins stats talking about what we would be dong for our projects and blah, blah "I'm going to place a list in the notice board during unch, so if you want to find out what your group is doing. The project is worth 20 marks so if yon don't do it, kiss your marks good bye" then he spins and picks up his marker to write something on the board and he spins

"One more thing, every aspect of this play/ project will be put into consideration. From your clothes to make up if necessary to hair to co-ordination to expression to- every single thing and if I list them, you would miss your next class' then thee bell went and Leah and I waited until most people left the class before we went out. Leah and I go to our separate classes,

*after class*

I go to my locker to drop my stuff and I spot Leah and Stephanie heading this way so I raise my hand up high and wave and I think they see it so they rush to me

"Hey guys, how was class" I ask them while closing my locker

"it was soo boring, I literally fell asleep" Leah responds and Stephanie nods then we start walking to a class, I guess then I see McKenzie walking this way-shoot-

"Uh guys I want to buy something from the cafeteria I'll meet you there" I turn and quickly walk to the cafeteria, now the hallway is practically empty and I hear fast footsteps- possibly chasing me-

"hey you stop running" a voice says and I will recognize that voice anywhere the person who made me think I was nothing, made me feel low, my bully; McKenzie Brice Hollister. I stop and place a smirk on my face, feigning confidence, then she catches up to me and paces her hand on my shoulder and pulls me to face her

She gasps "what are you doing here Amy, I thought you moved away forever you know I really missed you" she smiles and places her hand over where her heart is

I scoff "please Brice" her smile morphs into a scowl "I never missed you and I'm here for many reasons but one is the most important, you know Brice" her scowl deepens "I'm much smarter than I look, so DO. NOT. MESS. WITH. ME"

Her eyes widen "who are you to be giving me" she flips her hair in my face "orders, remember Grace yeah I'm sure you don't want to end up like her do you Amy" she walks closer and takes a piece of my hair "say, what happened to your black hair I did prefer it to this blonde"

I push her away "it's none of your business what I decide to do to my hair or my life also don't touch me, after all you did to me Brice. I just want you to know that I'm no longer that little 12 year old you pushed around" I flip my hair in her face and hear her shout in pain yes I flipped my hair in her eyes so what. Then I head to the cafeteria and purchase milk to go with my cookies and dash back to meet Leah and Stephanie who are probably wondering where I am considering I left 5 minutes ago.

I stop in front of the door to catch my breath and walk inside

"Where have you been" exclaimed Stephanie

"I went to get some milk and the line was long" I reply and seat on chair while holding my cookies and bottle of milk and nibble on it. Now Brice (McKenzie) as seen me, I have to scrap some parts of the plan and replace them which isn't fun

"Steff, where is Xavier" Leah asks. I have come to a conclusion that Leah like Xavier but I don't know about him considering he's almost never around

"He had basketball practice to attend" Stephanie replies. So he's a jock that's nice, I have two assets in my plan now, getting her back will be very easy to accomplish. But I have to put other things into consideration now. Hmm, I'll think of that later. The door opens, a boy comes in

"Xavier, you idiot where are my tacos" asks Stephanie

"It's very nice you worry about my safety or health also I ate them" Xavier replies

'Why you little thief. You owe me one bag of mini tacos, the big size" Stephanie shouts

"What I was hungry, but I'll still buy your mini tacos because I wuv you" he says and takes a seat

"So Leah, what have you been up to' he smiles, the kind of smile that is reserved for someone special

Leah smiles shyly- my suspicions confirmed- and replies "nothing really but Amelia, Hans and I are in a group for drama class and we're going to the park after school to talk about our parts and other stuff" I notice Xavier clenched his fist when Hans was mentioned- maybe he likes her, too soon to be sure-

"What time, which park" Xavier asks

"By 5 at Wadi Park why do you want to know? I should have asked that first" Leah answers and face palms I chuckle and he turns his head to me

"hi" I say and wave still eating my cookies his eyes following my every move I cautiously raise my milk bottle but realize its empty "you guys I'm going to get more milk" then I go to my locker, unlock it and bring out my flask full of warm but leaning to hot milk then I lock my locker before going back to meet them. When I enter Xavier says something to Leah that makes her blush

"that looks like a lot of milk" Stephanie says which makes Leah and Xavier come out of their bubble and I hide my flask behind me,, embarrassed I walk still hiding my flask to where I was sitting, I sit then continue nibbling on my cookies. When I'm done, I still have some milk left but I'm too full

"Can I have some" Leah asks

"Sure, you can finish it too I'm full" I reply and give her the flask

"Thanks" she mumbles and I smile

Back to my thoughts: it seems Xavier likes Leah and Leah likes Xavier. Stephanie is also befitting to accomplish some things I can't, but first I have to gain their trust, not that I'm going to backstab them. We need to be close friends so they easily agree.
