We meet an epic gaurd

Chase and I busted through the door of a fast food joint. We had just stuffed ourselves with ten chicken strips, a large fries, two burgers and three soft drinks each.

"I'm so stuffed." Chase groaned.

I felt like throwing up, last time I ate that much food was when father returned from Valhalla.

Chase fell onto a car. I'm so tired.

I laughed and dragged him away.

Chase perked up like a dog looking for a ball. "Elves."

"Dude, that's still a childish fear."

"Get down." Chase said pushing my head down.

"Ow!" I hit my head on the car next to me.

Chase put his hand over my mouth. "Shut up."

I rolled my eyes and stood up.

A spear flew out of nowhere and hit me in the chest.

"Told you." Chase said. He stood up and threw a fireball at the direction the spear came from.

A boy in Asgardian armour jumped from the trees. "Oh, it's you."

"Conner?!" Chase gasped.

I put a thumbs up and groaned. "I'm good!"

"Dude, great entrance" Chase said.

Connor didn't say anything.

I stood up with a struggle. "Dude, what was that for!!!"

Connor didn't move or speak.

"What's wrong with him."

"Doesn't speak." Chase whispered.

"Why?" I asked.

"He took an oath to never speak to anyone."

"Who is he though?" I wondered.

"Odin's personal gaurd." Chase said proudly.

"Odin's per... personal." I sputtered.

"He's not like this most of the time." Chase laughed.

Conner didn't say a word.

"It gets annoying when someone is threatning you and he has the secrets they want."

"I noticed." I said.

Chase handed me a flask full of something that was a yellowish color.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Nectar.'' Chase said. "Drink up."

I chugged it down and instantly my wounds began to heal. I felt my body fill with energy.

"Dude, that's way too much."

I felt the lighting in my veins flow towards my hands. The electricity burst out of my hands. It was too much for me. I fell to the ground shaking.

"Conner, help me!"

The two of them lifted me from off the ground. They dragged me off to the side and plopped me down at the curb.
