Chapter Fifteen

I went to the hotel that night to meet Camila but then ,it was for another purpose .

She wasn't well so I went to visit her .I took a shower and by mistake ,I slipped off and fell on her which is what your mother saw and misinterpreted my actions .

She angrily left the hotel room without listening to me .Dressing up ,I followed her and I was trying to explain to her what the reality of the situation is but she wouldn't listen .

She asked me to go away from her life and I left not because she drove me away but then,because her doubts about me hurt.

She was tailing me because she suspected me of cheating and she saw what she saw because of her doubts about me and that hurt .

After decades of waiting for her to resurrect from her stuck bed ,it appears she never really believed me so I just left .

It was for the purpose of giving her some space to think about our relationship , I know you love your mum so much but then , in every story ,there are two parts .

I never left and I came because I wanted to see if your mum still has doubts about me .

'Wow ,awesome ,what a great historic and touching story , dad ,he teased.

You know , you should have been an actor instead of a lawyer because it suits you well .

In no minute ,you have found a way to make your story victimising to your side .

Wow dad ,amazing ,he smirked .

Camila is not my mistress and believe me when I tell you that I have nothing to do with her .

Camila is my sister and if you don't believe me then maybe ,you will believe Liza .

She knows the whole truth about the situation .

Dad ,stop this whole drama and don't you dare drag my woman into your mess .

She's nothing like you ,Clinton said .

When did Camila become your sister because as far as I know ,you have no sibling .

If you don't believe your father then it 's up to you because I'm Camila Brown , the only daughter of Ruby Brown and Robert Brown and the only sister of Marcial Brown ,Camila said from behind wearing a simple fitting pencil skirt with a light make-up worn on her face .

Her body was slender and her short brown hair lay smoothly behind her neck .

Her bright eyes and snub nose was alluring .She seemed quite reserved but then her dimples were so exposed that she couldn't be looked at once .

"Oh , so the young mistress appeared out of the blue to claim my dad as a brother ,huh ?

Camila ,you have no shame or sanity in your body .

How dare you come here and put up such an act thinking that I will believe you ,huh ? ,Clinton said still fuming up in anger .

And do you even have prove about what you are saying ,huh ? "

I know where you are coming from Clinton ,what can I expect from a lawyer ,Camila said .

Even a DNA prove will do , but then ,I know that you will still think that the test has been altered .

There will be no prove until you settle your mind down and accept the fact that I am your aunty and not your father's mistress .

Marcial ,let's go away from here ,because he won't believe you even if you killed yourself for him .

She said and they both left .Though Camila seemed reserved ,she liked to call a spade ,a spade .

Once they left ,Clinton was left in shock and in an awe and after hearing everything he was just told ,he couldn't just believe his eyes .

His father never spoke about having a sibling and now ,someone just appears in the air and claims he"s her aunt .

How ridiculous ,he thought as he sped his car off .

Daddy ..Liza called out in her sweet voice .

"Hey baby ,I missed you but wait a bit ,I thought you said that you will be staying for a while at the Brown's residence but you seemed to have come home sooner than I expected , her daddy ; Ben Carson added ."

Dad ,I thought of coming home because aunty Hazel is now doing great and the amazing thing is that ,I missed you all so much ,she blushed and hugged her father .

"I missed you too ...she pulled her soft cheeks and enveloped her in his tight embrace .

As years passed by ,Liza became a daddy's girl and their relationship had really improved ."

So is this how it all works now ,huh ? ,Corazon ; Liza's mother descended majestically down the stairs in her white gown .

She looked really beautiful in white and her daughter also took right after her .

Anyone who didn't know the two as both mother and daughter would perceive that they are sisters or better still ,twins .

Her mother aged younger each day with her charming daughter .

I guess my girl has forgotten about me but then ,I won't say anything as it"s seems as if it's a father and daughter's moment together ,she jokingly said .

"Oh "my refuse to grow mother " ..she teased pulling her cheeks .

I missed you so stop being jealous already ,daddy and I were just sharing some moments together but then ,you are always on top .

You are our angel or am I not right daddy ?

Isn't your wife so charming and cute ,she said lovingly .

I think you both should give me a little Ben Carson Junior already ,she teased .

"Hey ,don't be nasty ,Corazon tugged Liza's hair behind her ears and enveloped her in a hug .

Ever since Liza appeared in her life ,she had always been joyful .

Alright ,I need a family hug right now ,she said and her parent's arms were around her ."

"Sorry mummy ,sorry daddy ,she thought .She was acting to be alright because she didn't want them to worry but deep down ,she needed consolation because she was hurting .

Thank God , Liza was immune to Corazon 's charms ,other than that ,she could have detected her thoughts so easily ."
