Chapter Eighteen

So sorry aunty Camila ,I was wrong about you and I hope you can forgive me aunty ,Clinton pleaded to Camila .

"It's okay son ,you know ,you were bound to get angry because you wanted to protect your mother .

I understand Clinton , so now ,stop sobbing and hug me because after all ,I'm your long lost aunt and I'm fully sure you took your beauty from me ,she jokingly said and enveloped him in a tight hug ."

Everything had been settled now that everyone involved in the issues of Hazel and Marcial were there to sought out the issue.

Camila is the elder sister of Marcial who has been confined in a psychiatric hospital for about two decades because of her schizophrenia .

This disease caused her to be mentally disabled and for the past two decades ,Marcial had never left her side .

He kept on taking care of her till she was well .She made him promise not to tell anyone about her identity after their parents Ruby and Robert passed away .

For this reason ,Marcial never spoke of her .He took care of her inheritance and returned it to her once she was better .

It was her choice to be Marcial's temporal secretary because she wanted to know how the firm was now operating .

Liza knew about all this because Marcial told her personally and asked her to also take care of Hazel and Clinton in his absence.

She accepted to do this wholeheartedly and preferred explaining the situation to them once their hearts had cooled down .

Hazel was now ashamed of herself for behaving so dump but now ,everything had been settled and the whole family had been together now as one .

Few months later ,Krystal returned to Clinton's And Associates Law Firm to take back her duty as an attorney .

Her relationship with Wales had improved and they always went on a date .

She lost track of her counts after the fifth date .She enjoyed Clinton's company and he enjoyed hers ,however they were still not in any form of intimate relationship .

Their relationship was formal during working hours and casual after working hours .

Today was Valentine's day and Liza couldn't think of celebrating it anywhere either than the place that she and Wales had developed a close bond for each other .

The same place he put an end to their relationship .

She sat by the river side and admired the beauty of nature .

She recalled their memories together and held them together by her tears .

"I know i've hurt you more than I can think of and I know that I don't deserve your love either but Liza ,I thought I could take it seeing you with another man but I was wrong ,my ego and jealousy just wouldn't allow me to .

It was here that I told you to bring everything we had to an end .I still recall that day .

Liza ,if possible ,forgive me because I love you .I still love you and I'm not ready to let you go .

I've been wrong so many times but then ,you are the only one in this whole world who can keep me on a straight path .

Liza ,today is Valentine and I want us to renew our love once again ; that is if you would give me the chance again and I promise you that I will never let you down ever again ,Clinton said with pleading teary eyes as he looked at Liza in the eyes .

To his shock ,Liza locked her lips with his and they both cuddled each other smoothly in the river .

They finished their game in the cottage where they once again surrendered their bodies to each other .

Drowned in the sea of romance ,they made love to each other .

Liza's bond mark was lightened up again and this meant that ,forever ,Clinton will be her soul mate .

The happiest day in the whole of the Carson's family and Brown's family was when Liza took Clinton's hand and placed it on her belly saying , "we love you too " .

It was her birthday surprise for Clinton on his birthday .

After six months of marriage ,Liza beared heir first child . They wondered what their child would be like ; half human for sure ,half alien wizard from his dad and a half witch from his mum .Whatever their child would be ,they would still appreciate and love the child.

Liza gave birth to twins on the eve of her birthday .

She gave birth to different genders and named her baby boy ; Ben Marcial Carson Brown and her girl ; Corazon Elisa - Hazel Brown .

The first joy in her heart was when her children called her "mummy " for the first time .

Liza's life became a happy one as she was now surrounded by her loved ones .

A decade later ,Corazon stepped off her position as the Queen of their clan and Liza succeeded her.

That didn't change anything because she said ,no matter what personality you are made off ,you are still apart of the world .

Whether you are alien witches and wizards ,sauceress or witches ,you aren't different from humans .

You can take up duties and help others as well .

No matter the personality in your life ,you are still belonging to our society .You are entitled to every special thing society has to give .

Racism won't get us anywhere ,for this reason ,I wrote my story and I titled it "Behind the Darks " indicating that in every truth ,there is a secret behind it .Lovely readers ,thanks for making time to read my book ,I hope you enjoyed it and also learnt lessons from it .
