53. Changes

A young girl with her hair set in a spiky pony tail was sitting near a spiky haired boy looking worried for his safety. her condition was haggard like she hadn't slept for a whole day. She had been sitting close to the youth ever since he lost consciousness because of the fight and fatigue.

Similarly a girls with blue hair and modest breasts was sitting on the other side of the youth with worry and longing. She wanted to be near her saviour, who took her out of the mouth of death. She already considered him her boyfriend and prince charming.

Both Momo and Bulma were sitting close to Vegeta. They were super worried. The other girls Nejire and Toru were with the doctors listening to the report that they got. They were listening intently about what was the condition of their Boyfriend currently.

"It is a miracle that he is still alive. His body got inflicted with too much radiation. It is hard to say when he will wake up and recover. It is because of his quirk that his body is adapting and resisting the radiation rampaging in his body". The doctor said to the girls and other in a somber tone of voice. The doctor didn't want to get the ire of the Yaoyorozu family and the richest family in the world.

Bulma, when she woke up and heard about the condition of her prince charming. She immediately contacted her dad and made him take care of everything. The US government had already started putting pressure on the politicians of Japan to hand over Vegeta to them.

Bulma's dad's influence and the influence of the Yaoyorozu family stopped any kind of arguments or whatever that US government or any other government had for that matter. Otherwise, the others would not have shut up or quit bothering them about all this. Dr Briefs did the simplest thing to make them busy.

He hacked into the satellite footage and posted the whole fight that happened to the public. Basically making the whole fight and their saviour a public knowledge. He also posted the actions of the US and various governments like a breaking news blowing up the matter further. The public was outraged. Government phones, websites and even the offices were flooded by angry mobs. Now the government had to do their best just to placate the public.

It has been a Week, the girls have been close to Vegeta all this time. They didn't even try to move away from his side. Barely sleeping or eating anything, they were just that worried. Same was the case for his Parents, they too were haggard and were not eating properly. Surprisingly, even Bulma was there not even trying to move away from Vegeta.

They had healers constantly on Vegeta. They were healing him, everytime the nuclear energy rampaged and damaged his body. Their role was to just heal him every time as his body was already adapting and forming a resistance to it. There were at least 10 healers on a constant cycle, healing Vegeta day and night.

The situation outside the world has taken a drastic turn for the worse. The world is slowly getting more and more out of hand. The very next day the size of the world suddenly multiplied by at least 10 times. 4 new continents emerged from the ground. These continents were full of Monsters that could clap the previous Godzilla in half.

Mana was introduced into the atmosphere. The previous quirks that people had, were now considered skills. But not all was bad due to mana whenever you kill someone, you absorb their strength into you. Thus making you more powerful in return. The size of the continents already expanded to twice their previous size.

There was still more land than water on the planet as the continents just expanded by 2 times but the world expanded by at least good 10 times.

Gods had made themselves more apparent. As they just suddenly came out the day after the world expanded.

"Mortals, We Gods are giving you the opportunity to get stronger and become gods yourselves with the help of the new energy(Mana) that we unleashed upon the world. You mortals have become complacent and evolution had halted. So, we have come to make humanity evolve once more by pushing you under the pressure". Zeus, Odin, Vishnu, Jade emperor and the other heads of their pantheons declared to the world.

They projected their image all over the world. They were sitting together in a Semi-circular formation looking at the mortals from above through their projections. Gaia was made to create monsters and put a cycle that as the average strength of humans increased. So would the strength of the monsters. Making it a constant cycle of struggle.

There was a barrier placed on the continents filled with monster that gave humanity a week to prepare before the monsters would be unleashed and would wreck havoc on the world. The quirks that people had just dictated on how strong or what skill a person will have from the start. Other skills can be learnt but Unique were just that Unique. They couldn't be replicated. Like Momo's creation, that was a unique skill.

The people had gone restless. Mob fighting lawlessness was running rampant. People were getting stronger and this was not going to stop any time soon. People were going to get stronger, even after the introduction of the monsters as not all monsters were just strong. There were weak ones as well.

Suddenly, in the hospital Vegeta moved his finger than his arm. Looking at this the Girls started wailing on their seats, looking fidgety and eager to just jump on Vegeta.

As soon as i opened my eyes. I saw the girls crying around me. "What happened, missed me!?"I said to them with a smile. Right as I said that the girls lunged at me. Not even caring if I was truly okay but oh well, I know they were worried.

"That was a nice nap". I yawned and looked at them jokingly. My parents had also came in the room listening to the commotion.

"NAP!! Young man, you have some explaining to do!!" I saw the anger in Mom's eyer. At that moment, I knew I fucked up. I just gestured her to keep quiet as I saw the girls were already asleep in my embrace. Probably they were too tired and just slept from all that fatigue.

Mom looked at me one last time and released a sigh of relief. She and dad sat down with a defeated expression, looking at me. They probably wanted some answers. I just shrugged at them. "Later". They understood the meaning and said nothing.

I inspected my body and felt that I was way stronger than before. I could feel that I can tap into my Super Saiyan form but I will need some practice to get used to it. That was seriously a good news. It looks like all that rampaging that the Nuclear energy did in my body pushed my base form to really good heights. I probably have the power level of around 3-4 million. I will have to ascertain this.

I was too focused and failed to notice the blue haired beauty in my arms together with the others. I was startled for a second but decided to just let it be. I will get my answers when they wake up anyway. No need to wake them up now.

But you need to know that the Gods are from their original lores and not some Danmachi ripoffs. Which means they can actually pose a very real threat to Vegeta. If he wants to go against them. Even the monsters have their kings and then there are the Titans. Who if you know the Greek myths, they are very strong. Other Myths have their own monsters and beasts as well.
