130. Kratos(Freedom)

I heard the explanation from God and was astonished when I found out, who and what he was talking about.

I went back to the manor quickly as I think this person can be perfectly freed by Kratos. I found him polishing his blades in the backyard and walked towards him.

"Hey Kratos, I need your help. Will you come with me?" I looked at him as I asked. He was fully concentrating on polishing his blades and didn't even turn to look at me.

"Hmm". He grumbled for a bit but equipped his blades and got ready to go with me. I smiled happily inside as I saw him coming with me. I opened a rift and first took him back to heaven, then asked the God to send us to the said person.

"Take care, Benefactor". The God waved his hand with an amicable smile as he transported us somewhere else with a magic circle.

Getting there, we saw a medieval castle that was giving spatial fluctuations from it. Telling that it was the gateway to another realm altogether. I looked at Kratos and the others behind me and opened a spatial rift there as I traversed through it with them.

The world on the other side was fully red. There was pools of blood everywhere with the sky fully red and without a sun. There were hordes of different creatures getting spawned and converging at one place.

Fountains of blood could be seen springing at that place when looked carefully from a distance. Telling that a slaughter was taking place at that place. I took Kratos and others as I thought of going to that place but a sudden voice stopped us.

"Welcome Traverser. You have intruded upon the realm of Scathach, the GodKiller". It was a feminine voice that expressed domination and strength through it's words. I didn't pay it any mind and continued going towards the slaughter fest.

"Hey Kratos, you will be the one handling her". I looked at Kratos as I said while walking.

He just walked beside me without saying anything but I knew that he will do as I said. As we came close to the place, a red spear came flying at us. It had a sleek design with red barbs at the joint where the spearhead is.

As Kratos put his hand forward to catch the spear, a sneer was heard. Kratos didn't pay it any mind and just caught the spear like a toy. This time, there was a gasp and the feminine voice said again.

"How can you catch my spear without being harmed. You are a God, it shouldn't be possible for you touch this spear". Scathach's voice was astonished when she said these words and there was some disbelief mixed in it.

"Toy spears do not pose a threat to me". Kratos mocked back with his gruff voice and successfully annoyed Scathach.

Scathach suddenly appeared next to the spear and held it as she tried to take it from Kratos' hand but it was like stuck in a vice and wasn't even moving an inch. Scathach kicked Kratos in the chest and didn't even cause an itch to him as he just backhanded her and sent her flying.

Scathach stood up as she cleaned the blood leaking from the side of her face and came at Kratos again. This time, I intercepted in between and gave her a drop kick. We continued fighting and I sent her flying every time by throwing her away.

"More, It's been a while, since I found a challenge". Scathach laughed like a maniac as she came back again.

Having had enough of her crazy behaviour, I decided to stop this crazy maniac. "I know, you want to satisfy your masochistic tendencies but we have something important to talk about". I said from the side and she stopped and looked at the rest of us.

"What do you want?" She asked with a snarky voice as she looked at us impassively.

"I want to create a body to be a vessel for this soul and I need you to tell me about it". I looked at her without showing anything and just asked her coldly.

"What do I get in return". She just looked back and asked with the same snarky voice.

"What if I can free you from this prison. Will that be enough?" I asked with a teasing smile when I mentioned her freedom.

"Hmph like that is easy". She hmphed at my my reply and didn't my words, one bit.

"If I can free you, what then". I asked back with the same smug smile while looking at her.

"I will be your woman for the rest of my life, if you can truly free me". Scathach replied back with a sneer when she heard my smug words.

'Bingo'. This went better than expected, maybe the Cat god is generous at me for the moment.

"Well big guy, you heard her. Let's get another maid for ourselves". I laughed when I said the last part. Kratos looked at me for a while but did it anyway, I knew he wasn't all that interested in the deal between us but who cares. He will come around eventually.

Kratos suddenly swung his blades at Scathach and before she could react, they went through her and slashed something ethereal, chain like thing appeared behind her.

The blade cut clean through the chains binding her and the chains broke into fine particles of light. Scathach looked at the chains and fainted on the ground. I caught her in a Ki veil and saw the beautiful face of the woman but didn't linger for long as it wasn't time yet and we had a lot more to do.

"Let's go back. We got what we came for". I said and ripped the space fabric to get back to the manor with everyone. After going back, I handed Scathatch over to Grayfia and sat down on a sofa in the hall.
