Chapter 20- A Father's Hate

--Valentino POV--

Leaning against the railing of the marble porch, I stared at the large willow tree a few feet from where I was stood, Alexa stood under the said tree with a smile on her face as she played with her eagle and a few other birds.

She was like a magnet, one that I couldn't look away from or she was like a fire and I was the moth that was drawn to her flame. I couldn't complain, it was something that happened with me only finding out after it had happened. Crossing my arms, I released a deep breath of air.

This wasn't supposed to happen. Things weren't supposed to stray this far. She was supposed to be just a girl, one that I had no relationship with and yet here we were. Once I had a taste, my hunger for her was supposed to have been quenched but it's only grown tenfold compared to before I tasted her sweet lips.
