Chapter 24- Damien Navarro

--Alexandria POV--

Today was the day. Eleanora's ball.

And to say I was freaking out would be an understatement, I had both Beatrice and Eva calming me down and helping me get ready though so that made my situation all the more bearable and less panicking.

From my room, I could already hear the bustling of guests making their way into the palace, the courtyard filled with large horses and carriages, entering and leaving the area, the laughing and chit-chat between all the said guests.

"Oh, Beatrice what if I make a fool of myself? Or worse, what if I embarrass Val!?"

"You'll be fine. Stop freaking out so much and just breathe deep breaths," I did as told, breathing in then out only to choke on one of my breaths.

"Goodness me, you'll never make it to the ballroom alive if you don't calm down," She patted my back, gulping back a few laughs and I glared at her.
