Chapter 34- Jealousy

--Valentino POV--

The last time this woman had left me this speechless was when I first met her on that island. Even then, I compared her to other women and thought she couldn't get any more beautiful, yet here we were.

She looked breathtakingly radiant, casting a shadow over everyone else in this large sparkling room. Her dress was plain compared to everyone else's and yet she made it look 100 times more exquisite than it actually was.

I bit my lip, cursing myself for falling into my father's trap and allowing all these men to gawk at her as if she were a priceless artefact in a museum.

Said father was resting comfortably on his throne as he chuckled at the sight. I dug my nails into my palm, failing since I was wearing gloves but nonetheless tried to hold myself back from punching him in the face.

If Darius waved any harder then his arm would surely fall off and I was still trying to come to terms with the fact that Killian was smiling, actually smiling- not frowning.
