Chapter 87- Family Portraits

--Alexandria POV--

"Done!" I gasped in relief, slumping down on my desk as I finished signing the last document from the massive pile of papers that looked as if it was never going to go away.

"Can I go now?" I complained.

"No, we have a meeting next. About the animal sanctuary that we're going to open up soon, there are a few last-minute preparations that you need to look at," I groaned, slumping back on my chair as Victor gave me a pitiful look.

"I have a baby to look after,"

"We have the maids for that, your majesty,"

"I don't want to be that kind of mother. I want to be close to my child, I went through 9 months of pregnancy and almost a full day of labour for him, not to have him calling someone else mother," I glared at Victor and he sighed.

"Also, how many times must I have to ask your majesty to keep your puppy out of your office?" Victor said, walking over to the adorable white Maltese that was panting away on the ground beside me.
