Chapter 95- Indecisiveness

--Alexandria POV--

"Mum..." Silas called.

"What is it?" I asked for what felt like the hundredth time as I gulped back my chuckles and continued to distract myself by running my hands through his soft brown locks.

It was late and I've been trying to put him to sleep for nearly an hour at this point but this child just wouldn't fall asleep and continued to pester me with random questions or statements. I must say that it was quite amusing to watch though.

He was drifting in and out of consciousness but still wouldn't let himself fall asleep, claiming that he wasn't tired.

"I want to be a Shepard when I'm older," He tiredly stated with closed eyes.

"A what?"

This time I couldn't hold back my laugh. It was only last week that he told me he wanted to be a pirate instead of a King and since then he's changed his mind about a billion more times. Ranging from a florist to a shopkeeper and now... a Shepard.

"Why do you want to be a Shepard all of a sudden?" I asked.
