Closure

The roads were traffic-free and wide enough for us to drive at an impeccable speed. Yes, I could have transported us through the air there but who knows when what could happen when I'd use my energy even by a bit?

So to be safe, we're using the fuel energy than my physicality.

"There they are..." I point to the black-hooded figures of the witches and wizards around the blazing hole of eternal fire.

The King and the Queen are nowhere to be seen, at least that's what I've perceived though. Classic darkness drips off of them as they glow a dark emerald. I've always fancied the dark witches and wizards, always. But for what reason? I'm not quite sure.

"Ron," Jane calls out. I stop climbing out and turn to Jane who's clutching onto the fabric of my soiled shirt from yesterday.

"Be careful..." I'm moved by her words of concern. I give her an assuring smile and pull her by her neck to plant a small kiss on her forehead.

"I will, Princess."

The car is parked at a safe distance and been protected by my energy and some loyal guards from the palace. A wizard gives them company too, and when I'm completely sure of the princess's safety, I make my way towards the hell hole.

My eye twitches as soon as I hear the obnoxious roars of the dark creatures from the distance.

I take ample time to shift to my elemental form, my skin darkening with each step I took towards the scorching portal. The energy gets under my skin and my rest of the distance is covered whilst I float in the air.

"S-sir...we're draining out of o-our energy. Quick, please." I feel very responsible for my impulsive actions from yesterday night. I would've never got into such a situation if I just took a few seconds more to change.

But who would've known what would happen in the span of those few seconds?

But, whatever.

What has happened, had happened. It's just time to fix this and aid the helpful witches and wizards of their drained energies.

"Everyone please step aside." I politely say and take over the portal under my control, single-handedly. Not a flex, but I'm helping them transport to a safer place with the other wizard over there.

"Alright, Ron. You got this." I hype myself up a little and get into the business. I put all my powers in and let the whitish, ice-blue clusters of flames blotch onto the ends of the opened portal. The creatures do distract me from my duty, but I lay no much attention or whatsoever and continue doing my best with closing the portal.

"That's it...that's it." it's close to the closure, and I put in extra efforts until I'm screaming slightly.

Exhaustion seeps through my blood vessels as I take in huge chunks of air, my body swinging in the air and landing on the ground weakly.

After awhile, I open my eyes and look straight, feeling okay-ish now.

The magic-users give me a mixture of smiles ranging from the exhaust to the happy and radiant ones. My Jane's shining the brightest amongst all.

"Let's get you all home."

And the people apart from my mate disappear into the atmosphere as I transport them back to the palace. I slowly shift back to my human form and get inside the car, Jane leaping onto me and hugging me, yelling,

"THAT WAS SO COOL!" I understand her excitement, but it's not exciting at all to the one performing such things. It's a heavy load on the mind and the body, and not only one persona but all the three which are my human, my wolf, and my elemental personas.

My wolf gets strained the most, and for a reason being the truest form amongst my three. I can hear my wolf whining every time inside my heart, but I've always chosen to ignore it and let it heal itself.

Now, anyways, on with our date week.
