To the world, as yours

Today, finally, is the day where I am supposed to come out as the world's only elemental.

People, the majority has high hopes on me to put an end to the crimes but I have to make them understand that it's practically impossible to do so.

But right now, I relax myself at the men's spa which was actually just me and Jane chilling in the bathtub. :)

She plays with the bubbles on the surface and I with her soft, smooth skin. I pour some drops on her skin and watch them slide down from the side of her shoulder to the expanse of her shoulder blades and back.

She shakes her shoulder slightly when I plant a kiss on her shoulder.

"You look like a baby."

"M not."

"Mhmm..." I respond with a hum, not really caring to answer in proper words because of the beautiful scent which lingers around me. That brings to me to enquire,

"Jane?"

"Hmm?"

"How do I smell to you?"

"Um...You smell like tangerine and lavender to me."

My eyebrows crash together slowly.

"But I'm an alpha...tangerine and lavender are not my scents."

"I know. But you smell like them to me." I sigh. If it's true, then I can't help it.

"How do I smell to you, Ron?"

"Warm vanilla." I chuckle onto her skin as I say so, making her giggle along with me.

"I love vanillas."

"I'm beginning to like them too, sweetheart." series of kisses are planted on her neck and jaw until my lips reach hers.

I turn her around while she gets comfortable on me, our lips still connected.

"I love you, baby." I say and smile into the kiss.

"I love you too, Ron." each word was accompanied with a kiss and that made my heart boom.

"Okay. In two minutes, sir." The cameraman informs and I nod my head. The crisp black suit fits my frame perfectly and I feel oddly nice in front of the camera. It's my first time being filmed and broadcasted on the silver screen, live.

Back to the scenario, I glance beside me and watch Jane casually adjusting her gown and occasionally talking with our interviewer.

"I can't believe I'm honored to interview two of the greatest people on earth, your highnesses."

"Oh, please don't feel that way. We are as humble as we can be and we expect the public to know that." The princess gives a diligent answer and I nod at the man, confirming her words with a reassuring smile.

He giggles and shudders, few seconds before the camera starts and he gets back to his professional mode. I make a face and the other second, I'm gently smiling at the camera and introducing myself.

"Hello to the world. My name is Ronald Jones, the world's only elemental who swears to protect you at all costs." I introduce myself and the camera pans towards Jane next.

In the meantime, I close my eyes and chuckle internally at the reaction of the public worldwide. Through my vision, I see many cheering for their princess who was hidden for so long. Their cheers grow louder once the camera zooms out and focuses back on the three of us now.

"So tell us, your Highness, how do you feel being paired with the elemental?"

Sure, the question was casual but I could feel the vibes of disapproval and disappointment exuding from Jane which made my screen smile falter by a bit.

"Well, Herald, I'd like to confess that I'm the luckiest woman on earth to be born amongst the modest of royalties, and to be paired by the moon goddess with this amazing man right here. Ronald, in a way, is very aloof and is willing to break the stereotypes of alphas being hard and scrutinized in personalities." she states facts as she moves her hands animatedly in the air to explain her points to the world.

I smile at the camera and fold my hands over my chest, looking back at Jane who's already looking at me and we stare in each other's eyes for a few seconds. It was like we didn't care about the world until a red dot flashed at our faces, to distract us from each other. My gaze meets a grinning cameraman and Jane continues after clearing her throat.

"Ahem, so as I was saying, the people have to break stereotypes that omegas are just to be looked as breeders and alphas as the heads. Sure, it's in their blood and nature but it's all the mindset that I'm willing to change in the near future."

"Oh, does near future mean you're going to the Queen, your majesty?" I chuckle at the majority of the audience's reaction on the other side of the broadcast screen.

That was slip, Jane.

Her eyes widen when she realizes she's stuck in such a situation.

"When can we hear the wedding bells, Princess??" The interviewer lunges forward with a hearty laugh and my eyes crinkle too. The only one who regrets about the situation is Jane.

"Very soon!" I answer to his question and laugh along, forcing Jane to laugh along with them.

"So we've heard about The Elemental. Now let's hear from the elemental how our dear princess is in real life." his statement urges me to answer and I prepare myself to describe my world.

"She's has very sweet personality, that I'll give it to her but she's also thoughtful, charming and witty. It's just, maybe because I'm paired to her that I feel the appreciation but either ways, she has a personality which is apt for a queen. Quick, witty, kind and generous. I'm really lucky to be paired with her." I say and look at her.

"Likewise." she responds to me and smiles brightly at the camera which I'm sure will make me jealous of all the boys lining up and falling for her.

The interview goes on for another hour before the broadcast channel shifts to the next schedule.

Thank you, god.

I've never felt so relieved after an interaction.

It was a few minutes later that we were guided out of the huge telecommunications building.

Huge crowd, humongous crowd was heard to cheer our names out loud once we stepped out of the sound proof gates of the building.

The emotions I feel is immense, as if I'm feeling each and every person's happiness and security in my heart and it makes me so grateful to the Moon Goddess for making me born as an elemental.

I'm so glad...

Many hands stretch out and try to touch us, which feels a little bit weird but Jane and I are too absorbed into greeting people and waving our hands at the distant crowd.

Amongst this crowd, I realise.

I have a special place in their hearts, millions of them, and their security is in my hands as their 'Hero', their Elemental.
