More Mistakes

Ronald felt like a disease to himself at the way people were looking at him for what he had done. The pain, the agony and the cries would never be forgotten. He thanked God that he could save the sufferers before they became one with the divine spirits.

As of now, he was being dragged away from the people, the King clutching his hand sleeve tightly in his fist as they walked briskly. Pushing him into the car and ordering Jane and the others to take another automobile, silence fell on them quite uncomfortably.

"Your majesty, I—"

"You will be apologizing later." He said in a harsh tone as a reply, looking out of the window to calm his thoughts and anger.

"Please, I didn't want this to happen either. It just...didn't strike me. Yes, I admit that it was my fault for not thinking about the devil and this was uncalled for. The Devil's creations, them specifically being attacked...I'm sorry, your highness. Please forgive me."
