All in God's grace

Jane felt her legs becoming wobbly until she gave up on herself and touched her knees to the ground. Mouth covered in disbelief, she looked at Ronald to reconfirm everything.

"Please tell me you built it and you're just making everything up."

"Why would I do that!? This is the real and sentient piece of land filled with the aura of Moon Goddess. Don't tell me you don't feel the vibrations of the universe here Jane, I would not believe it."

"Hey, I do feel the aura, so very much that I'm indeed overwhelmed with this fact. But...why me?"

"Hmm...I've made a promise to the Goddess, actually, that one fine day I will choose to show you this wonderful place and hide it back away respectfully. This is a very sacred place to all the wolves, but I'm afraid the more people know about it, it's essence is going to fade away. You know what I mean?" He said, kneeling down before her and staring at the ruins of the building covered in moss and grass.

"I understand. But that means..."

"I have to erase your memory." He completed the sentence for her.

Jane felt a tad bit bitter at the fact that this one wonderful memory would cease to exist in her mind once they walk out of this place.

"But don't worry about that, I will ensure you enjoy the pleasures of your eyes and heart until any sort of a threat arrives. Though, I need you to promise me this." He said, holding his palm out for her for a promise deal to be sealed.

"Promise me, that you will keep this secret safe in your mind until I do my duties. Wow, Moon Goddess is going to dumb mad at me now that I've chosen this!" He exclaimed, laughing at himself.

"Hmm but you can erase my memories though!"

"You know, I can't access your own thoughts from my elemental self. I can only hamper with your memories once we um...mate and I've evolved into my greatest form. So I need you to promise me to keep this information safe with you."

"I promise, Ron."

[FLASHBACK ENDS]

'I still remember the desperation in your voice when you asked me to keep it safe with me, Ron. Don't you want to protect it faster? Don't you want your sacred world to be safe and sound, away from the Devil's touch? I've only come to tell you this, that you can do anything in your power or at your own pace, but know that the war awaits you and we look up to you as our peacekeeper. I've always loved you for who you are, baby. And I want you to kiss me hard as soon as possible and tell me that you love me too. That is your first task, so back to the world for me as soon as possible.'

Her words were sent through the mindlink between them, the tears in her heart and eyes oozing out as she slapped on the unbreakable glass container, and somewhere there inside the red fluid, he tried to battle with his consciousness to listen to what she had to say.

And when she left with ugly tears cascading down her cheeks, the elemental wanted nothing but to burst open from the container and wipe off those tears from her face, assuring her that he will win and come back to her no matter what.

Back in the princess chambers, she talked with her mother about erasing a specific part of her memory to secure a few things from eternal damage.

Tagging it as a confidential information, she convinced her mother to let the eldest witch to dissolve her memory into bliss, without letting anyone know, even the witch herself.

"Mother, you have to understand. It's something that I cannot let you, nor anyone know about. I need to erase it as quickly as possible so please do not hold me off in this moment." She told to her mother who stood in front of the Chamber gates with a displeased stance.

"Let me in." She told to the guard and looked back at her mother, noticing that her frown had deepened.

"I love you." Catching the Queen off guard, Jane entered the chambers and instructed everyone to leave herself and the witch alone in there.

"Please secure the perimeters. I'm ready, I guess." Jane said in a weak voice and sat on the wooden, devilishly carved wooden chair that the dark creatures use to perform spells in complete performance.

"All in God's grace."
