Soon after Daniel and Valarie left for the night to their own room, Ronald and Jane switched the lights off and as the lady had requested, he summoned the rain as it became misty and sweetly cold at night.
"I hope I'm not bothering the men working outside." Jane thought to herself as she got under the covers and let him pull her petite body against his large one with her back attached to his warm chest.
Snuggling for comfort, she sighed once she found the perfect spot and closed her eyes to rest for the day.
"Not much of a bother I see there, my princess. They're safe under the shelters." He whispered against her ears and groaned unexpectedly, his wolf making him do things that he shouldn't have been doing right now amidst this serenity.
"What is it?" She mumbled, already half asleep as he only made sounds from the bottom of his throat.
"It's nothing, honey. Sweet dreams to the sweetest pie."
