TWENTY SIX- LADY IN RED

As the sun crept through the ventilation slits he could hear the footsteps coming down the hall way with his name being shouted. Bruised and bleeding he tried to answer, but the morning activities had knocked the wind from his lungs. He managed to crawl towards the gate. His once pristine white undershirt was now soiled with a combination of vomit, faeces and urine mixed with blood. His fists and knees were bruised and raw as he fought as hard as he could against the unseen bodies.

Marcus raised his hands as Inspector Gadget looked at him and said, “You fucker, after what you put my sister through know you know how the family feels about you. Scotty, get the boy cleaned up. I hear his woman and lawyer are here already.”

The ice cold water from the fire house drenched his almost naked body and he winced as the pain of the water thundered into his ribs.
