Unknown Vessel

*swoosh swoosh*

A sound of the ocean's waves swinging back and forth can be heard inside this unknown room.

It was dark inside the room and dirty as it was not been touched for years.

No light can from outside has been touch the interior of the room as there no windows and the door is tightly sealed.

Despite its messiness, there are people in there lying on the floor or at the wall, barely holding themselves from fainting.

Every one of them is wounded and some of them are worse as their open wounds are getting infected with germs from this dirty room.

Some tried to sleep but never wake up.

"Is everyone is still fine?" A voice from one of them inside talks to others inside.

It was a familiar male voice voiced his concern.

Certainly, he was Ray.

Ray who got kidnapped by those adults from the vans.

He is not the only one who got kidnapped as they locked inside here by those adults in a black suit.

"One of my people fainted." The one who replies to Ray is Carlo who is also got kidnapped.

Looks like they are trapped here with their enemies.

Carlo recognized Ray as he was the one who is holding Mike back then when they are having a brawl and Ray also recognized Carlo as he is the one who tried to hurt Mike.

They are still hated each other but they set it aside for now as the situation now is more important for both of their lives were in the line.

"Boy, is that kid is fine?" The voice that was also familiar was from Leo who is also here.

Just what kind of awkwardness is this if they are all met at a different time without this kidnapping thing?

Anyway, Leo asked Ray if the kid beside him is still fine.

"U-Uhmm.. yeah, Mike is fine."

"Is that so..."

The one beside him is Mike who still not waking up since that event.

It's been a couple of days since they end up here and yet he's still not waking up.

Ray is worried but he still finds it weird that this guy named Leo is also worried at his best friend.

Just what is Leo to him?

Ray decided to continue their conversation by extending his words from earlier.

"Yeah! In fact, his injuries are all gone like it was not there."

"Really? Just what kind of recovery is that." Leo showed interest amid in this situation shows that he's calm and still fine.

Some of them are fine even they are left without food nor water inside the room while some can only last in short days but it's still an unbelievable feat to achieve not to mention they are all in the age of between in 17 and early 20s.

They did not know if they were talented, gifted, or through experience but they all know that they can survive for more couple of days without food nor water.

Without water nor food for them to replenish their energy for means for recovery of their wounds, they could only focus their mind to stay sane and not lose consciousness, Mike who is still in the state if waking up already recovered his injuries even with means of food nor water.

Leo who saw Mike's full recovery in just a short time is speechless

(What in the world.)

Not only Leo who is surprised Carlo, Daniel, Ray and the other thugs are also amazed.

Everyone inside the room everyone is still injured except Mike and not a single band-aid can be found nor was given to them by those who kidnapped them as they got no choice to rely on their natural recovery.

Based on the people inside the room, the most injured one was Daniel who got almost beaten by Mike with a metal bat.

He let it aside from his revenge for now as he's in a dangerous situation like those other people inside the room.

Daniel looks at Leo and asks him a certain question.

"Leo, do you remember why are we here or where we are?"

"No... I don't what is their reason for kidnapping many of us like they don't care what will the polices do to them. As for the other question I don't know where we are exactly when I wake up I was already here inside the room. Despite that, I know one thing for sure that we are next to the ocean because we can hear the sound of ocean waves from here.

"So no one here knows why or where we are."

The only clue is that they are near the ocean.

They don't know where nor what kind of ocean is that as they also believe maybe it was a river that is near to them.

"Are you dumb? We are not next to the ocean we are sailing through the ocean!" Carlo shouted at them as he was kinda irritated.

Now that we mention it. Carlo is older amongst the group and also most experienced in any kind of situation.

As expected from the leader of the thugs.

"Are you starting a fight here fatass!?" Leo got provoked by him as he also showed a tint of irritation to his face.

Again, they still haven't eaten since the day they got kidnapped and yet they still got the energy to start a fight.

Daniel who's Leo's friend sided him showing also a tint of annoyance.

Carlo was dumbfounded by them getting provoked too easy.

He just wanted to correct their guess not by starting a puny fight.

Carlo talked irritatingly to them as he stated his guess to them in a simple manner.

"We are not next to the ocean but we are on the ocean."

"Huh? What the heck do you mean?"

"Do you feel the whole room is like waving up and down?"

"Ah...Now that you mention it."

"That's the cause of ocean waves means we are at the top of the ocean."

"So we are at-!!"

"YES! You all finally understand it!"

"""ITS A SHIPPING VESSEL!"""

"You can guess it without putting much thought but I didn't think you could not know that until now."

"Like we can feel the room waving up and down!"

"Just what kind of cerebellum do you all have in your brain for you all to not feel the weirdness happening inside the room?!"

(I can't believe that I was stuck with this many idiots!) Carlo held his head like it was written in pain. The pain of having to know other people who are beyond dumb.

Maybe the reason for them to not feel it because of hunger.

"Hngg..."

"!!!???"

While they are arguing to each other Mike suddenly shows a sign of waking up as he is making a noise of discomfort from their noise.

After passing a couple of days Mike finally about to wake up.

They all stared at him waiting silently as they are expecting something to him.

(Finally about time kid.)

(Mike!!)

(That damn brat is about to wake up things might become messy.) Carlo thought worriedly.

"Hnnggg...???"

Mike raised his head slowly after he wakes up from his deep slumber.

His eyes are still closed because of those eye-boogers that been stack up for days.

He gently washed it off by his hand.

It takes a couple of seconds to finish to clean to his eyes as he can finally open it.

"This is?"

He takes a look and the only thing he can see is those faces of strangers staring at him silently in the midst of darkness.

If you just happen to be in the same situation as him who didn't know anything and just wake up getting stared by a bunch of weirdos it will certainly give you goosebumps.

As expected of Mike he readies his stances when he feels something weird.

Mike recognized Carlo and Leo as an enemy who fought him last time before he lost consciousness.

While he is cautious he finds Ray beside him making him more confused about what just happened here.

"Now, now, we are not here to fight we are in the same situation as you are." Leo who is quite in a cool manner tried to calm Mike.

Of course, Mike didn't trust his word as he is still cautious.

But when he is still in the midst of confusion someone grabbed him from his side.

"MIKE!!! I- *cries* feel lonely inside here without you!" The one who grabbed him at his side is Ray and started crying at him venting his all loneliness by hugging him.

As you may know, Mike doesn't like someone touching him as he showed an irritated mark on his forehead.

From being cautious into being in wrath in an instant cause of Ray triggered something inside's Mike who sleeps for days.

The whole room feels chilling cold and no one except Ray who is crying knows what is happening.

Mike grabbed Ray at his shirt under his armpit with one hand and another at his elbow.

"Huh? This feeling is quite familiar." Ray voices his thought.

(This is!? W-wai-wah!!)

Suddenly Mike faces his back at the front of Ray and he still holding him.

And quickly formed a throwing technique at him.

His world quickly went into 360 as he was thrown into the ground.

"Gah!" Ray holds his body who is still in the ground as he was still in pain from the impact.

Everyone inside the room is surprised at what Mike did to Ray. Aren't they friends?

"So? What happened here?" Mike finally talks to them as he understands the situation a little based on how Ray is carefree and his considered enemies were not attacking at him.

"Well, this what happened after you lost consciousness." Leo quickly replied to Mike making the conversation straight to the point.

Leo tells everything that happened since after he loses conscious.

Surprisingly, Mike is listening to him that makes Carlo who knew Mike for a long time as his enemy went into speechless.

(Normally he will try to guess the situation on his own but to rely on someone other than himself... Did something changes him when he lost consciousness?)

"And that is all that happened. Story finished." Leo finished his story to Mike as he also understands all of it.

"Okay, thank you martial arts guy."

"U-uhmmm yeah... your welcome." Leo expecting a better reply but instead, he was given a flat reply with just one sentence making him lost cool composture for a second there. He doesn't know how to handle this type of guy making him a bit frustrated.

"So got any clue where and why we are here?" Carlo voiced out his thoughts to Mike as he is expecting some answer from him.

Enemy or not, information is still information.

"Well as you guess we are in the shipping vessel and based on the days we are stuck here maybe they are transporting us to another country. It will only take a bit of day to reach the other country but if the total of days we're stuck here is right then maybe the reason they still haven't reach the other country because they are hiding from the police or something."

"So that how it is..."

"Wait, wait, wait! Boss! How can you believe his words!? Maybe he was lying you know!" Someone interrupted his conversation with Mike from one of his thugs.

Well yes, his words might be a lie but...

"Do you think we need to lie to ourselves here when our lives are in the line here?! He might be the shitty brat who beat us to a pulp but he is the only Demon that living in the Q.C!"

"Excuse what!?" Ray who just recovered from getting thrown to ground showed a surprised face!

He always listens to the rumors like the Demon delinquent who beats all of the thugs on their territory but he didn't expect it to be his best friend. Not to mention he also can't believe that his best friend can do better than him at being an athlete.

"Y-y-y-your joking right?! M-m-my best friend is not something like that who's vulgar and bad..." Ray also interrupted their conversation as Carlo is starting to get annoyed.

"Can you please shut for a fucking second!" Carlo hits the ground making a *thud!* noise for them to get attention to shut up.

He stared at Mike and said something to him. "You brat! How can you consider yourself a best friend to this guy when you are making secrets at his back!"

"I didn't consider him my best friend he just considers himself my best friend to me and I only just consider him a friend to me." Mike casually replied back not caring for someone who might get hurt from it.

Carlo is surprised at what he had said and looks at Ray concerning what expression he will make.

Looks like Ray didn't hear anything as he is staring at him like with a question mark floating at the top of his head.

*sighed* sighed in annoyance as he held his face with one hand forming a facepalm covering his displeasure away from Mike.

"So Ray, you don't anything about Mike being called the Demon?" Leo also interrupted their conversation but this time Carlo gave up from being mad as he might produce more wrinkles to his face.

"I don't know anything about that... That is why I'm asking."

"Unfortunately I don't know anything about that I'm not a citizen of Q.C. The only one who knows everything here is Carlo. Ask him for answers I'm sure he will tell you all because he was bored stuck inside here. Well, he is not the only one getting bored, all of us are also bored. Should I even said that we're bored when all of us worried about what will happen to us?"

Mike didn't speak anything as he only close eyes thinking something deeply.

Ray saw him and understands that right now might not be the best time to ask him so he went to asks Carlo.

"U-uhmmm... Carlo can I asks some questions?"

"What?"

"Can you tell me all about Mike."

"Like I would tell something a story so long to you." Indeed it was troublesome to tell a story that not his.

"Aw, please! I am curious too!" Leo who appeared at Ray's back pleaded at him.

For him to tell a story Leo raises his voice to all of the people inside can hear him.

"I'm not the only one who wanted to hear the Demon story, right everyone!?"

"YEAH!!"

"Boss we wanted to hear it too!"

"I'm quite new at the gang so I don't know anything about him!"

Most of the people here were thugs so it will make Carlo not refuse.

At first, he tried to ignore their pleading but gave up afterward.

"OKAY FINE! YOU FUCKING BITCHES SINCE WE GOT NOTHING TO DO OTHER THAN CONSERVING OUR ENERGY BUT WE ARE NOW WASTING IN SOME UNNESASRY STUFF!

"Guhhh... Alright, I only tell this story once so make sure you bitches listen to what I said!"

And so Carlo tells a story about the Demon who shakes the whole thugs inside their territory.
