Title Aside Isn't The Protagonist Is Quite Unfortunate?

Barely grasping some air before the water surges through his surroundings.

The pressure that unbearable to any human surging him on all sides crushes him without any mercy.

Bones cracking, muscles groaning, organs collapsing, blood stops circulating, and his conscious barely holding, Mike quickly managed to calm down himself while cursing the luck that always beside him.

He even leaves his personal clothes because of this surprise as the surging water untied his ponytail hair.

As he suddenly surrounded by water the tentacle that always beside him started pulling him down descending even further into the ocean.

He already expected it because he's gotten used to this every time he goes out in bubble.

However, that doesn't change the fact that his body is heavily destroyed by the pressure alone.

If an average human descends slowly underwater, they could only handle going about 60 meters in total.

And the wold record about deepest underwater that humans could go is about 340 meters.

What about Mike? Well, He's about to reach 1000 meters which are 16 times deep than the average human can handle and 3 times deep than the man who sets the deepest record on diving deep underwater.

With any time to remorse himself, he should be dead by now.

However, he's still alive struggling without fail.

Unique evolution?

Yes, he has that.

His body breaking as it collapses from the pressure, last day he could handle the pressure but he will descend and move slower than the normal.

I guess you could say that this situation is a surprise even to his body.

However, that's his unique evolution comes in.

Mike's body getting destroyed as it regenerates a new strong one and repeats it.

Since he was a kid he's regeneration is faster than everyone that you could question what kind of creature is he.

Every human has each different style of evolution as Mike has Imuthis and regeneration. His body is still changing so there might be new ones that might appear.

The difference between Mike to everyone is that he is evolving too fast. I mean he's getting near the source of that phenomenon so that's the reason why but it's still strange for him to even reach this far.

Mike tried to move his head to look for another bubble but can't as his eyes are giving him intense pain.

His eardrums are also giving him intense pain, not only that, I mean his body in whole is in intense pain.

Closing his eyes in panic and covering every hole from his face to protect his head from the pressured water he thinks of a plan.

His enemy this time is nature itself so it's impossible to fight back through it.

The only way to be safe is to find another bubble.

(BUT HOW CAN I FIND ONE IF I CAN'T OPEN MY BOTH EYES!?)

[Mike! Calm down! Stop relying on your eyes it's not useful now in this situation!]

As his body relaxes his muscles and bones started to regenerate at a faster rate as it also strengthens his body that can handle the pressure.

Enduring something that might kill you will surely indeed make you stronger.

He doesn't have much trust in this speed-up evolution because he thinks that it has limit but he didn't think that this will go beyond his expectations.

Like his body nodding in satisfaction when it heard it's owner command, it goes faster rate in regenerating.

Closing his eyes his world he feels now is subtle yet heavy from his chest.

Imagining a clear black void like the one he went when he met Imuthis.

For a short moment, he opens his imaginative eyes.

It's like a black void but unlike the real one, this place is noisy as he could hear his bones cracking and he feels his body descending as there are no footholds.
