Lisa is a beautiful young girl who is working as a drawing instructor. She was in love with her boyfriend Daniel Brooke, who is an aspiring lawyer, for two years but her parents are pressuring her to get married to their chosen bridegroom Carl Black, who is a professor. Lisa asked Daniel to get married but he refused as he wanted to concentrate on his career. His dream is to be a famous lawyer like his father. Lisa lowered her head as tears welled up in her eyes. She didn't want to show them her tears. She blinked a few times to shed tears secretly and swallowed the lump in her throat. 


Carl Black clenched his fist tightly under the table to see Mack Black acting restlessly. He felt pain in his heart seeing how his brother was treating Lisa. He stole a glance at her and said "Finish the food fast. It's getting cold." 


Lisa nodded and tried to eat. But after taking two bites she couldn't eat anymore. She felt so much sore in the throat that she couldn't swallow the food. She tried to stay calm and not to cry but her eyes burned as fresh tears started oozing out from the tear duct. She was only poking the food with the fork. 


When Helen Black saw her not eating, she asked worriedly "Why are you not eating? Do you still feel uncomfortable?"
