Coree stayed in her home office for about two hours for a teleconference. When she is done, she walks out the office and finds Eun waiting on the couch. He is sitting with his legs crossed, and on top of his lap is a book gifted to him by his aunt. “hey,” Coree greets her son as she sits beside him. “Are you done, Mama?” She nods her head, and Eun closes the book and places it on top of the cocktail table. She holds his hands, and tells him how important it is to be truthful at all times. Eun seems to be a bit comfortable, as Coree studies his face. He tries his best to avoid eye contact, and he could not easily give out answers to some of her questions. Coree asks him about school and his friends, “I just told you that, Mama.” His replies have gone irate, and she knows there is something going on in her son’s mind. Coree smiles and finally decides to ask the important ones. “Yun-Oh, seems to be a nice girl. Do you like her?” Eun laughs, and scratches his head with his left hand, whilst his right hand is still being held by his mother. “Is that the reason why you were asking a lot? I am a teenager, but you do not need to worry because I know my limits,” he assures her. “All right. I hope that in case you get to like her or any other girl, you will let Mama know okay?” He smiles, “Of course I will. Can I go now?” She nods, and brushes her palm over his head softly. When Eun is about to reach the stairs, Coree calls him once more. “Eun Lee?” He stops and looks at her, “Yes Mama?” “Please do not keep secrets, Mama needs your honesty.” He is unable to reply, but he nods his head and goes up the stairs and back to his bedroom.
Jae holds Mari’s hands as they walk in a mall. Mari rests her head on his shoulder as they look for a boutique for their entourage. They enter a beautiful boutique, and the lady approaches them with a smile on her face. “Hello, nice to finally see you.” Jae and Mari look at each other, as they see the dresses, gowns and suits that are displayed in enclosed cabinets made of glass. Jae shakes the lady’s hand. “Well my future wife could not seem to hide her excitement.” He smiles at her, as she lets go of his hand and looks around the place. “Are these dresses for sale, or are they just samples?” Mari asks. The lady leads them to the second level of the shop and introduces them to the designer. “Hello, Miss Mari So. You bloom so well,” “I am going to marry the love of my life, what’s not to be happy about?” The ladies all laugh together, and Jae looks at his bride with so much joy. There is another woman who walks into the room, takes Mari’s measurements as the designer interviews her of how she wants to look like on her wedding day. Jae is seated on a corner, scrolling through his mobile phone. He is all ears to what Mari has to say about her dream wedding. “I want to look like a queen. I look forward to wear a tiara,” she glances at Jae, “Honey, are you going to get me one? ” Jae looks up and nods, then goes back to looking at his phone. “I want to be the most beautiful, elegant, looked up and envied by the single women in society.” The lady replies, “For sure they will, it’s going to be a dream wedding.” Mari continues, “Not just a dream wedding, I want it to be the wedding of the decade. I will invite the prominent people, political leaders, influencers, famous people all over.” She says as she giggles in excitement. Jae puts down the phone and looks at her, “Honey, we have spoken about the number of guests, right?” Mari quickly replies, “A little adjustment won’t hurt.” She then whispers to the designer who is sitting a foot away from her, “I have savings.” The ladies glance at one another, as if they were able to feel a bit of tension with the way that Jae has spoken to his fiancée. “Honey, I want our wedding to be the best. I want you to be the groom of the decade, what’s wrong with that?” Mari continues with her usual tone. Jae gets up, walks to her as the lady who was earlier taking her measurements now is trying to show her the silk cloth that are currently available in the boutique. “I know that, but I also want you to know that we’re trying to build a family here. We have a house that is currently under construction and a family resort in Jeju.” He tries to speak as softly as possible, but Mari maintains the volume of her voice. “I know, but it’s our special day. I want you to get out of the shadows of your past marriage.” She says, glances at Jae and then speaks to the designer. “I want my wedding to be inspired by Princess Diana’s.” Jae remains speechless, he walks out the room and closes the door behind him. He goes to check the accessories, and walks past three ladies and a gay man. He hears the man speak in a low tone, “So she wants to look like Princess Diana when in fact she has taken the role of Camilla.” The ladies all laugh, as they are unable to notice Jae’s presence. “Camilla Parker Bowles is no good. This woman up there,” the lady pauses and points her finger up, in a manner of letting them know that the woman she is talking about is on the second level of the boutique. She continues by saying, “She used to be the best friend of the first wife.” The other lady replies, “Oh no, she stole the husband of her best friend?” The gay man, with a raised eyebrow tells them, “Oh yes. Camilla Parker Bowles is left speechless.” In the midst of their laughter, Jae remains quiet. He never knew how to tell them to stop, when in fact, they are speaking the truth. He remembers how Coree and himself were talking about how hurtful the divorce was to the Princess of Wales. Coree used to tell him, “I hope and pray you won’t do the same thing.” He kissed her cheek and said, “No, Coree Lee. You are my everything, my forever.” The memory was as vivid as if it was happening in present, but the fact that he left her for her best friend made it even worse that the royal scandal. “And you, dirty little freaks, you would never get to wear a tiara when you get married. I am not even sure if your husbands will be able to afford a decent venue, at least.” The voice seem familiar, so Jae decides to look at the staff. They have stopped laughing, and their heads bow in humility. He was unable to foresee that this is going to happen. Mari has been done with the measurements and she tried to find him, so she followed him downstairs and heard what the staff were talking about. Jae steps in the scene, Mari has her arms crossed and her eyebrows raised. The designer is apologizing, but Mari demands more than an apology. “I want them all fired. If you keep them, my fiancé and I will find another designer.” She then walks out of the shop and goes straight to the car. Jae is left, apologizing and tells them that he will speak to her to change her mind. “This is her most awaited event, I am sorry for her tantrums. I assure you she is a good person.” After which, he rushes to go after Mari, who is now crying inside the car.
