A well-known fashion designer in Korea, Coree Lee is faced with the challenges as she finds out that her husband has been cheating on her with the most unexpected person. Hardships such as emotional, physical and financial stress press her to lose everything she has, but she finds hope in her children as her husband tries to reconcile with her. She unfolds mysteries beyond the affair, and together with her husband, continues to fight for her family, trying to keep it together amidst the world tearing them apart.

The Confidante 

Coree gets an appointment as a designer to a celebrity who wants to join an international beauty pageant. "Well, I want to, but if they would ask me to come right away, I just can’t. Nala’s parents are not yet home, and I’m looking after the boy," she tells Han when she asks why Coree rejected the offer to fly overseas for the weekend. Coree assures her though, as well as all her assistants that she would go as soon as Nala’s parents come home. She turns on the television, and again sees Mari’s face on the headlines. She decides to turn it off, “I guess I got to be working, “ she says to Han who reminds her that she has been dealing with migraine in the past few days and that she needs rest. “I just don’t want to waste time. In case the beauty queen’s team contacts ours, we’ll be ready to present good designs.” She smiles at Han, and accepts her offer of a hot chocolate.
