Persephone
I looked through the tiny cell barred window that wouldn't fit for even a child to pass through. I wondered if the previous kings had been too poor to upgrade the dungeons for the door in front of me-- If I could even call it that. The walls, save for the one behind me that was made of concrete bricks and the tiny window I looked through were all made of rusted bars. Though... I could understand why they would not need to though. The dungeons were merely for keeping criminals for a couple of days before their trials and their execution. The Keepers kept the city of Avalor clean of most of the criminals anyways. Only the ones who had committed crimes against the King or royals or the court members that dwelled in the palace were kept in the dungeons. Turns out very few people were stupid enough to commit such crimes.
