Her golden curls bounced as she moved ahead stealthily. I had never been able to successfully find out where she went every time during noon. At first, I had thought it a routine of hers, perhaps, a walk, but one never hides to take a walk. Much less a queen that possessed as much power as she did. I had questioned a few on her whereabouts at this specific hour but none could give me an answer. Even I, her most trusted confidant, knew nothing about it.

It had been weeks since I gained control of my body and I hadn't found anything with which I could save her with, from myself and Elpida. My patience was wearing thin, as were her chances of living. Which is why, I had to find out what new scheme Elpida was hatching.

Cloaked in a concealment spell, I followed as quietly as I could, avoiding structures, lest I hit them and made a sound, and Elpida, she had sharp ears for a human.
