Rich Bruno, once a nineteen-year-old Miner, now has the opportunity to move from his poor Home City of Adlington to the wealthier Market City of Espington. He and a group of young Miners are transported via carriage to their new life. En route to Espington, the carriage is struck by a wood bomb. Several Miners are injured, a few are killed, and Bruno believes he sees a mysterious red-haired man that may or may not have been on the carriage to begin with. 
     Getting to Espington was not easy for Bruno.
     Starting a new life there will be even harder.

The Ones Who Live in Espington

"Well, I sure hope you don't run into another Grizzly!" Katrina chuckled. "Then again, you would know exactly what to do." 


Bruno did not know how to respond to the Desk Attendant, but he was glad she was trying to make some sort of smalltalk. In all honestly, Bruno was worried for his trip to Adlington. He had been running into problems constantly and he knew that something was going to go horribly wrong when he arrived at the Mining City. Maximus knew Bruno now, how he had aimed and fired his Obsidian at the President and his men. Luckily, Bruno had Julius, Cradock, Jago, and Sayer, as well as Greene, along with him. Hopefully, the ride through the Pines would be save and the talk with Maximus would be nothing but smooth. 


"I don't think we'll encounter another Grizzly, Kat," Bruno admitted. 


"I hope not! They're probably the most ferocious Varmints of them all!" Katrina said.
