The Last of Espington

The following morning, after the meeting between Julius and the Mayors, Jago had gotten the tram up and running. The conductor, Stewart, prepped the locomotive for First Departure as Cradock prepared Tram and Turret Guard.

"Bierce and Gomez," Cradock spoke. "You both did a fine job with Mission Elm. I need you both in charge of the Turrets atop the tram. They're designed differently. Like mounted Obsidians with near-pinpoint accuracy. I'm sure you both will learn quickly. Get Snead and Halcomb as well."

Bierce and Gomez looked more excited than worried as they ran straight for the tram station outside the North Gate and Alley, phoning in their fellow Turret Guard.

Cradock walked through the Heart with a pointer finger to his lips. The Boss Guard walked up to Sehgal and Rauen.

"You both have proven yourselves in the Espington Militia," Cradock said. "I need you both Guarding the cabins within the tram, with Ali and Barzaga. Are you up for it?"
