They both got out of Aiden’s truck, and he walked Meridian to the door. She turned to give Aiden one more hug and her smile softened as she nuzzled her face into Aiden’s chest, taking in his scent. She pulled her head back and leaned away from Aiden as his arms remained locked around her. “Of course, we can talk; don’t be silly.” Meridian was coy as she giggled and walked inside the house.

Raina was anxious now that she had some time alone with Meridian. The guides, Luna, and Talon were all there to listen to the conversation. Tallulah, though not happy with Raina’s visit had already went to bed for the night.
“So how have you been? I mean, it seems you are busy. Do you have any clue who your twin soul is?” Raina inquired awaiting any indication that there was an opening with Meridian.
“Well, no. Ever since I came back from Salem, with all this knowledge of a twin soul, I do not even know about how to go about it.” Meridian seemed frustrated.
