Chapter 2: Wishing
Yeahh I'm wishing for something but I don't know what. It's also like I am supposed to remember something but I just can't put my hand to it.
'A penny for your thoughts Merida?' asked Mark.
I totally forgot I was in a biology class, it's just lately I've been really drifting into my own head.
'Hmm...Mark it seems I've seen you before or maybe I know you. You getting the vibe?'
'Well, maybe we have met in a past life. You getting me...hahaha' he laughed. And then the teacher turned to us glaring at Mark. Well he is definitely in his bad books.
BRRRRRRIIINNNNGGGG!!!
Finally school is over I was starting to give up on life...just kidding. I quickly packed my bag and made my way to my locker, grabbed a few books I might need at home. I walked to M's locker and we walked together to the car park where Arthur had packed and told him we would meet him at home because we were going our with friends and he was glad we were fitting in.
When Arthur was gone I saw the rest of the group. M and I made our way towards them when we got there we decided to go to the mall to do some shopping but mainly window shopping.

We got back from the mall pretty late around five, mum wasn't really bothered. I guess Arthur told her but someone else was pretty pissed and I don't know why he (dad) was. He never really cared about what we did but since M and I became 15 he's been really acting weird.
Well, we all sat down for dinner a few hours after we got home. Dinner was getting on pretty well until...
'Um..um kids I don't know how to put this but a cousin of yours would be staying over because his parents have gone for an important trip and will be back in three months time. I know it's too soon but he'll be in tomorrow and luckily you all are in the same school he's also a sophomore.' said mum with a smile.
That was all of a sudden, I wasn't really bothered but then I was. Who was this mysterious cousin I've never heard of?
Now I'm in bed. I took a shower and wore my favourite pjs because I felt the need to, pretty weird but who cares.
I've been reading this new book A Question Of Power I just reached the most boring part which made me drift into a deep slumber where I had the weirdest dream ever...

'Artie! Artie! Where are you? Dad is coming he's holding an amethyst stone, come see its has different shades.' said a little boy of about nine.
And then the dream changed..
'Uncle Hermes I want one like your eye...It's a lovely colour' said a little girl.
'No I want the one like his eye' said the same little boy from the previous dream.
'Kids its okay you each get one like my eye colour' said an older good-looking man maybe in his thirties.
It felt as if I was in heaven. Everything was beautiful and surreal.
And the girl and boy looked really alike I think they are twins and their uncle had familiar eyes I had seen before. The dream kept changing showing different people who I have a strong need to get to know.

I woke up with a start, I looked at my phone and saw it was thirty to seven so I decided to get out of bed to start my day.
I chose a green hoodie and wore it over my uniform. I walked to M's room because he was playing music so I knew he was up.
I entered his room and saw him working out.
'I couldn't sleep. I saw these kids in my dream and they were playing hide and seek in the first scene then it changed and then they were with this man and they were arguing about something but what really caught my eye were the kids they were twins I think and the man's eye it's like I've seen it before but I don't remember where and the sce—' I said walking from the door to his bed and lying on it not even completing the sentence.
'It would be lovely if you asked about my health and how my sleep was? You know..' answered M without pausing what he was doing.
'What?! I had a weird dream you know it
just escaped me.' I answered back turning myself upside down.
'Well I think you are just worried about us. Because we just moved here and everything seems foreign here. Well apart from the language. Now get out so I can get ready for school' he said pulling me off his bed and pushing me out if his room.
'I love you too' I said sarcastically.
Since M and I were no longer nervous newbies we decided to go to school without Arthur. So we left home early and arrived early.

My day in school was going great but I was anxious to meet my cousin.
I didn't see Mark in any of my classes or even in the hallways or at the cafeteria. I voiced my feelings to M who just said I was worrying too much. Hey don't think I'm having feelings for Mark or anything. It just feels like I imagined him and I have this urge that I know him.
Well it is lunch and I'm heading to the library to borrow a book on amethyst stones. I was really creeped out by my dream.
I borrowed the book I needed on famous stones and made my way to my next class and sending M a quick text that I'm already in class so he and the others won't worry.
When I opened the book i flipped through until one particular picture caught my eye and underneath they had written—
The first amethyst stone discovered in Zeus's temple in ancient Greece which was divided into two and each half sent to Artemis and Apollo's temples respectively
Was this what the little boy was talking about? And now I was wishing I knew who all those people from my dream were...
It was calling me to just touch it...

Students started trickling into the class one by one and I quickly put the book back in my back. Forgetting about it.

M and I are on our way home.
We arrived home early and changed out of our uniforms and I am now in the kitchen preparing edible chocolate chip dough while M is in his room playing video games. It's not difficult to make edible chocolate chip dough one just needs simple ingredients such as sugar, flour, egg and a lot of chocolate chips. I love chocolate.
I was just about to pour a whole packet of chocolate chip into the mixture when there was a knock and mum called out our cousin was here so I walked out of the kitchen munching on the chocolate chips when...
