CHAPTER 41

“Why can I hear your voice in my head.” Ada asked and shifted her eyes from the vast wasteland. The heat of the sun was at its peak and battered the land which was covered by sands, rising in glory until they touched the sky somewhere in the horizon.

“I thought you would have figured out by now” Leviathan’s shrill voice echoed in her head. Its huge lips did not move. It lowered its mighty wings and sat on the hot sand as if it was the most comfortable seat on earth.

“But I haven’t. Anyway, why did you bring me here?” Ada moved away from the beast, she still could not explain why she was not afraid of the ugly creature.

“Here, Adaeze, is where I was born,” Ada looked around but reverted her gaze with a frown.

“It still has not explained anything,”

Dust rouse as Leviathan stood up, casting a shadow over Ada, who looked as if she was about to melt like wax.
